A great hate card as well is Nevermore. Great for calling other Generals. What about Shield of the Oversoul just for Gaddok?Flying 4/4 Indestructible seems good whether attacking or saving him to block.
I'm going to go with the Slivers would win in a 1v1. The Slivers are the rapidly evolving swarm speceis that greatly outnumber anything else.
The Phyrexians are stronger individually, but they do not advance as quickly as Slivers do and in much fewer numbers. They seem to adapt to their enviroment much more slowly and thoroughly.
For Silvers, any weaknesses they have are soon corrected and attempts to contain them have resulted in what Dominaria is left with. The Riptide project was a disaster only increasing the silvers strength and allowing them to expand beyond the plane. They adapt to their enviroment and situation extremely quickly, killing any who stand in their way.
I don't know, I think between the 2 badasses the Silvers are just too much to deal with.
I don't see vamps being as good as they are now with the loss of nighthawk, gatekeeper, hexmage, kalastria highborne, bloodghast ect. Though its not a vampire, that darn bloodchief ascension.
They would need a major overhaul or reprinting of these which I doubt will happen.
It might be the time vampires died out and a new tribal creature type for black to emerge.... possibly imps?! or more realistically horrors or go back to good old zombies.
Its a fairly well rounded card useful in some of decks but not game defining. This card won't see alot of play outside stoneforge and EDH.
If it somehow does it won't be used as a 4 of thats for sure.
Some are very creepy feeling, very interesting and creative.
Really looking forward to seeing possible new lands? hopefully something fun. I love how the Mycosynth Lattice looks now.
