Duskmantle Seer is very good, if you look at the top 8 Decks from last GP the most common numbers in the decks are 0 for land 2, 4, and 5 there is so much midrange right now that Seer has the potential to give you a Thragtusk for the low price of 5 life and swings for 4 that is 9 to the face. I am not saying he is the best card I have ever seen but he's got a wealth of potential especially if the Meta continues to trend toward mana ramp decks to fuel Sphinx's revelation. Not to mention he might make Slaughter Games main deck worth, you don't have to guess what they are playing they will be revealing cards every turn and showing you
It says end of turn step so if you draw two during opponents turn its good to go as well and there are enough time walks around where this could be a force in ext and legacy and type 1
One last thing before I go away again This is a blatant cash grab that serves no advancement of the game only the advancement of corporate profit margins, it saddens having actually bought a starter of Alpha and being amazed at the fun and possibility but now they print cards you MUST play or not be competitive, how can a kid walk into a store and want to play competitively if the land bases cost $300. I understand they design for several different types of consumers but Fetch lands fly in the face of every PRINCIPLE they claim to want to advance with this game. Like newspapers they should learn if you don't grow a future teh past is all you will become. And yes M10 was a success and Yes they are making money but it is pillaging their past on Modo (printing previously unavailable cards) and Power Creeping their present (Baneslayer Angel) the game is becoming expensive and not fun and it saddens me but at some point every chapter in your life comes to an end for a new one to open, and this is the end for me, good luck guys and may you all get a playset of Enemy Fetches in your packs, or boxes
Oh and for anyone who can't wait for Rav Duals to age off to make extended not a shuffling festival, there will be New NEW Duals in some future set, I thought they didn't like shuffling feasts or all non-basic land bases, OH THEY LIKE $ BETTER
THis thing is a beast in Extended and Older formats where you mana base is 10-14 fetchlands and very few actual lands or Life of The Loam card engines it is almost always a 4/4 on turn three and may prompt people to play terramorphic expanse in T2 this card is the nutz high and low
That thing is a Soldier so now preeminent captain has the BEST target for his under used ability and the cheap card drawing artifact is the blue permanent and if you go Bant its all on line on turn three now thats beats in T2
