6/6 for 5 seems pretty efficiently costed to me. I've picked up species gorger to re-trigger evolve (the most obvious use,) put bloodrush guys back in my hand to make it impossible for the player to block my 8/10 (scab-clan charger,) made riot piker into a 2/1 defender, reset ETB triggers (you only need to pick up trostani's summoner once or go crazy with gatecreeper vine,) while beating down with a very formidable 6/6.

Indestrucible is a very powerful keyword in limited. you NEED a removal spell to kill Tajic, and it needs to be a specific type. and usually it will be more expensive than Tajic. Off the top of my head renounce the guilds (a rare that might not even be playable in some decks) is the only cheaper-than Tajic way to deal with him. Another big point is he is essentially a 2/10000 creature (sometimes 7/1000000) in combat and can win you the game by attacking. the split cards can set up 2 for 1s, but remember that if your opponent chumps with their tavern swindler and you still have a 2/2 indestrucible, thats a 2 for 1 Wink

The #1 card you need for simic is Species Gorger. Leyline Phantom can be a good card to pick up in your GTC pack if you didn't hit the species gorger, but having a 6/6 with a lot of potential up-side (think Roaring Primadox in m13,) or just defender (worst case scenario still pretty ok) and its a way to win the game, unlike krasis incubation which just takes out their bomb (or sometimes helps your creatures out a lot :D.) I think after Species Gorger, Beetleform Mage is the next most important pick up in simic for DGM. that card is just extremely efficient and helps you block fliers. a 4/4 flier for 3!?!?!?!? totally fair

    Pyrewild Shaman vs. Trostani's Summoner

I was looking to draft an aggressive deck and the summoner didnt seem like the card for me P1p1. The shaman seems more flexible and I love re-usable card advantage effects. Trostani's summoner is just so good though, putting ten power on the board for 7 mana. what do you guys think?

I would love this so much if it was a Tribal Planeswalker-Sliver. Searching for it with Sliver Overlord would be the most fun thing that's every existed.

By far the saddest part of this card is that it lacks flavor text. There's a lot of reminder text; which is reasonable being its in the core set. I would love either some Moby Dick reference or a witty quip about how Ash Ketchum's Mom is so fat not even a Colossal Whale exiles her.

    Life from the Loam

Probably one of the best cards you will ever put in your deck. even playing it for 0 just to dredge and then playing it again from what you dredged is still worth it. it can get you 3 lands per turn, and if they are in play with azusa, its cheaper-than-free to cast. strip mine/wasteland lock. it would be good if you ran green fetches with it, but even without them its still quite good. I would say its roughly 8x better than STE, skyshroud, mulch, or realms uncharted, and works very well with the latter 2.

Hello! I was wondering if there was a suggested distribution for two-headed giant for the return to ravnica block. We want to have 8 packs per team. We were thinking either 3-3-2 or 2-2-4 for rtr-gtc-dgm, respectively. We know we can basically do whatever we want a long as every team has the same thing, but if there was a large tournament with that format, we would like to know whatto expect and what we should play tonight lol

Well, the green part is that it's slightly large, but mainly that you can sacrifice lands. Is there something that would make it more green? making the creature bigger? only be able to sacrifice tokens? I'm ok with making it cost like 6 and having it be a 4/4 or something like that. the deck is mainly a control deck and can easily hit 6 mana without needing the general.

I imagine it would've come out in a shards of alara type block, where a lot of multicolor PDH generals are from. A lot of the generals are one color, and then have activated abilities of other colors (or ALL of the colors! \ol) and that's how they have their color identity. maybe that would be a good idea for this one, too. he is W or B, and then have an activated ability that does part of the thing, and another activated ability that is green that does a slightly different thing. I'm not sure I want to get that complex with an uncommon though :/

For those of you who play PDH, you know your deck must be led by an uncommon creature, with a deck filled of commons (or atleast that's how my playgroup plays it.) For those of you who play a lot of PDH, you know there is no Junk (WBG) general available from any set ever. Well, I really wanted one, so I decided to design my own. There is no name for it yet, but here's what I've come up with so far:

    Junk General 1WBG
    Creature type-Treefolk Cleric
1, Sacrifice a creature or land: Target creature you control gains protection from the color of your choice until end of turn.
    3/3

This card is based off of mother of runes/cartel aristocrat. It's a good enabler for all kinds of sacrifice shenanigans, value cards, and pestilence/crypt rats. Does this feel like a good power level for an uncommon? Which rarity would be the most applicable for it? Is the ability to target any creature you control too powerful? What are good Power/Toughness ratios for it?

This is a great limited card, 3/3 flier for 3 is way above the curve. I see myself first picking this card quite often, both because it is colorless and a 3/3 flier for 3. I wish the effect would last indefinitably, but you cant ask for everything. Hopefully youll have more creatures to play after it though......

Burning Vengeance will love this. think twice becomes UU Draw 2, shock, forbidden alchemy for U, mana leak for U, dissipate for UU. its a lot of mana to play, but when you done have creatures in your deck its pretty nice. I'll probably play test 2 of them in my deck because the second one is much worse than the first. and having one once you hit 5 and are trying to stabilize would be pretty awesome

Follow up question: If the original creature had first strike, could you ninjitsu after its dealt first strike damage, and get in normal combat damage? Also, could you attack a planeswalker instead? Or if the first strike creature attacked the planeswalker, could you hit the player?

I'm playing The Mimeoplasm as my general. My opponent has a Splinterfright and a Moldgraf Monstrosity as well as 18 other creatures cards in his graveyard. I play Mimeoplasm naming the Monstrosity as the first creature and Splinterfright as the second creature. How big will my mimeoplasm be? I have 6 creatures in my graveyard if that is relevant. Thanks in advance

I'd run 5 color bombs and lose to my mana 2/3 games. I'd also run about ~20 lands just so I can cast all of my ridiculous spells. I'd be in white for the triple voiceless spirits ;). Blue for the Goliath and divinations to help my draw my bombs. The games would be utterly crazy and hilarious and fun.
