This Friday for the DKA release party my flgs is going to be running trip DKA drafts. Anyone have any good strategy that is is strong for a triple draft of this small set?
I just started playing this deck tonight and did pretty well against most of the decks I went up against. I ran into a lot of trouble with <card>Olivia Voldaren </card>. Are there any good ideas/plans vs her? I run 3 sever the bloodline sb but I think its a bit too slow and a pain to flashback in the yard.
If i were to take any guess, i would have to say number one is hollow dogs just because of how the art resembles the older art. the other ones I have no idea
maybe call of the herd? or maybe you could put in edge of autumn because only two of your lands (horizon canopy and gemstone mine) have self-destruct abilities.
graveborn muse was played a bit back during onslaught and mirrioden. I agree that headgames will be very good in standard, why its persecute's replacement.
If they started in play, they'd be considered a permanent. This would mean Vindicate and Necrotic Sliver style destroy target permanent effects could still take it out and put it into the graveyard.
QFT, the plainswalker idea should be a simple one, as maro and other members of R&D have stated they wanted. How can it be more simple then by just making a card thats like a creature but instead of creature-human in the type box its plainswalker-human. It allows the card to avoid all creature kill while still remaining very simple
well if its on tarmygoyf, the cards have to be in play in order for them to reach the graveyard. Personally I just think that its a new type, instead of a creature its a plainswalker and thus can avoid things such as dark banishing and wrath of god
Was there any real point to have the group of kid hackers there other then just to point out the obvious?
and then not show up at the end or have anything accredited to them at the end?
I thought the movie was awesome, it would have been cool if they slowed down some of the grappling to fully get the awesomeness of the fighting skills of optimums and megatron.
