I think it will be a good card, espically becuase it costs :2mana::symu:, makes it very splashable and its as close to a hard couter your going to get, other then hinder. At least a decent hard couter, i'm sure MUC will play some of these.

Well i fell Terror is the right choice, there isn't any black creatures or artifact creatures to worry about other then Kokusho right now, wich isn't even played that much right now. Terror is one mana cheaper also, against tooth and nail, your not going to want to kill there Titans anyways, you would rather chump block them, and if they did become a problem you should have Natralize main anyways.

I would check the Londes article today for a newer BG build, i really felt this article was right on where BG should go as in main deck.

Well remvoing Plows for grids is kindda counter active, the Grids make Plow Unders much better, and the reason Plow Under isn't the greatest card vs mono-blue is because of their counters, i early resolved Plow can be devastating with a grid in play. Thats 2 more turns they have to recover from the +3 mana they need for all there spells, to be honest i haven't played this much. but maybe removing becaons. I see a lot of spectral shifts coming in from the bored just for beacons.

Yes, this deck isn't competive at all, the writers at brainburst are really slacking, nothing good has come out of them in along time. that anti-blue deck, is a pile that he decided to make. It just dosen't cut it, it loses to every other deck, and MUC is not as popular as affinty was and won't have that much hate either. MUC isn't good enough to be hated out, this deck will roll over to anything non blue.

While I like instant speed destruction as well, the fact that Splinter works against Shackles, equipment and Tooth and Nail makes it seem worthwhile. If Blue can counter your Splinter, they could probally already counter your Naturalize anyways.

    Here is my list:

Yea i think the Natralise vs. Splinter has been covered, Natralize has the advantage in almost everything. (but hey fell free to test it)

Your list should really be running 1 more Troll Ascetic, hes the best creature in the deck, and he single handly wins some of your match-ups, not to mention hes amazing with the Jitte...

Also i Believe you should run 4 Plow Unders main, its just to good to pass up, quite possibly the best card in the deck. Plow Unders can win games from its mayjor tempo swing.

other then that the list looks good.

Splinter cost 4 and its a sorcery, against a deck like MUC i would rather have Natrualize. They don't have more then 1 shackles early game to offten anyways. So Natrualzize will most likely get rid of the Shackles. And MUC will just counter a Splinter espically as it is a 4 mana sorcery, these wont resolve.

No but, it also has versitilty wich the Armor lacks, the Armor, can't just go to a new creature and start swinging away. The sword provides so much more then what the blanchwood armor does. And then again the Armor dosen't do anything to help you with your drawing or removing opposing creatures, the creature just swings every-turn and dosen't get chumped much, its also clumps up your non-creature spells and just provides what i feel to be a kill more card.

Blanchwood Armor is good don't get me wrong, but there really is nothing to take out of the deck other then the Jittes/Kodama's reach. the Jittes provide so much more then a creature your opponent has to chump block, with Jitte they don't want to block. And Kodama's reach helps out with getting earlier Plow Unders, Thins out the deck and powers up Becaons.

And thats why i wouldn't run Blanchwood Armor it clumps up your non-creature spells, and its not game altering all it does is makesyour creature a must chump block creature, wich isn't very hard to do with all the Elders, Bops, Witness's and all the other Support creatures running around.

I feel the biggest Reason not to run Blanchwood Armor is because it dosen't have the abilty to change its target, this is why equipment is so powerfull, and Blanchwood just dosen't cut it, and a lot of the time its a kill more card.

Also Sword of fire and ice and Umezawa's Jitte are so verstile, they provide more then just pump effects, exp: sword has can draw you cards and kill opposing creatures, the Jitte can Kill creatures, and gain needed life... and thats just besides there abilty to pump a creature to extream Numbers.

    (11) 43. WarOne - 44. Twinkee
Twinkee dosen't have a card, so WarOne wins by Default? if there is something wrong someone please inform me.

    Winner = WarOne

    (12) 46. Blinking Spirit - 49. BenGreen

    Blinking Spirit/Wradram, Savior of Thurus:

Bonus(5/5) everything is in place, good picture.
Balance(8.5/10) the card is balanced, it wont break any format but i could make it into a few
    decks.
Flavor/Creativity/Quality(6.5/10) The card is orgional so that adds to its cool facter, the Wording is a little confusing. its got a good flavor, flows would be the wording could keep it a little more basic
    (20/25)
    bengreen/Nestless Queen
Bonus(4/5) the card is fine but the picture is distorted.
Balance(7/10)Very strange card, it seems like a Platnum angel abilty built in, its not the greatest card in the world.
Flavor/Creativity/Quality(5/10) Props on trying to create your own abilty but its a little confusing, it would need some work on the wording. All and all the quality isn't their the wording isnt that good, the picture isn't visable so it dosen't get much in being kool, other then origonalty.
    (16/25)

    Winner = Blinking Spirit

Well i was thinking going, Meloku main... and not running Extractions and use Blood moons and Boils in my bored, because both of thouse spells are devasting for your opponent. And to make it more of a surprise run the mountain in the bored, and Soggy i believe this could work for you, running one of your lands in your bored.

I don't really mind who makes, i forget that you both do banners now, and you guys both do awsome ones.

Like i said befor i would like a simular banner to the one i have now, but MG instead, have some of these cards on it.

Eternal Witness, beacon of creation, Troll Ascetic, sword of fire and ice, and a forest(perfeably not the one they show on here) also have the words Mono-Green Control.

If its possible i would like a Avatar to go along with my Sig, but i have no clue how i want it to look, so don't waste your time on it unless you want to wing it.

    Thanks ahead of time.

Mark is right, if you are going to run Laughters, and Barters take the Control Approach(wich i feel is the right way to go) Also if your not running Bops with Troll then don't bother with him, against MUC you need him turn 2.

If you go more control, like i was running, only use 4Kokushos, 4 STE, 4 E-witness, maybe 3 Solems.

Most the time your sacing Solems to the barters but there mainly for chumpblocking anyways.
