You certainly don't need champion of the parish in a list with 10 humans. That's an easy 20 bucks off.
I also think aurelia doesn't fit in this deck, and it is highly unlikely that you will reach 6 mana with 22 lands. Another 40 off.

For the same reason that parish doesn't fit, i think cavern is sub optimal and too much money for nothing. 100 bucks off from there if you're going to cut it.

you should take the count of silverblades and maulers to 4, and maybe add a 4th charm.

These are the most painless cuts ican think of.

Theros is ancient greek for summer (just in case someone didn't know)
What about a volcanic greek mythology inspired plane? o.O :p
the name certainly has to do with heat

Or he could could straightforward on scenario 1, saccing a bird for a strangleroot geist, playing exarch and saccing him for hellrider, attacking with everything for well over 14 damage.

Scenario 2 is a definite mulligan in my book, you need to leave as little as possible to luck, and the fact that you can't cast your ponder to fix stuff up makes it a whole more a run for luck.

actually, the point where humans run out of gas and start getting stomped by bombs, is when we push the opponent below 5-6, and we either draw extra lands or cant land our threats due to elesh, curse, inferno etc. That is when the card really comes in handy. Also, when our bomb or pumped champion gets chump blocked/burned, divine deflection doesn't just save the creature, it gives us a good kick forward in the race.

I think i would try it as a 2-3 of in my humans deck.

    Then you deserve to lose.

I am the UB zombie player coming here to look at what U/W humans sides in, and if your answer to my threats are grafdiggers cage i all i can do is give a hearty thanks.

i deserve to lose for asking a question? Grin
of course my sideboards will probably feature grafdigger's cage ALONG with celestial purge and elite inquisitor. Last UB zombie player i matched up against scooped up t4 after elite inquisitor, mirran crusader, mirran crusader Smile

    ray of revelation targets enchantments.

The cage hurts UB very much (not EOT flashback draws for you!), all the RG decks (ramp, geist aggro), zombies and frites. From those, the only ones who pack artifact hate are RG and frites. And i'd much rather see their hate burning up my cage than my SoWaP, just saying Wink

Soru had been pondering all through the attack of the goblins, as his elemental could not be called to anyone's defense. He decides to call upon the fairy conclave and stay ready with his mana for the while.

    3 Island
    1 Fairie Conclave tap symbol

    1 Cloud elemental

nevermind, thought it had "damage cant be prevented" on it's text (which would kill pro red creatures, since protection prevents damage)

of course protections don't count towards mass effect spells like slagstorm.

If by "perma" you mean "temporarily until it's removed and the graveyard is still intact", then yes, it "perma" hoses the graveyard MUCH better than nihil spellbomb, which actually DOES perma hose their graveyard, regardless of black mana for a mise .....

i would like to be pointed at UB Zombie's heavy artifact removal, as i seem oblivious...

1 mana for it, and perma makes their gw useless, vs 1 time use of nihil and no black to draw.

it depends on how much you can feign really. The deck runs as a straight forward white aggro, but not overextending, keeping the right mana untapped feigning a mana leak on hand, can win you games. Only you know what your deck runs, G1 at least Wink

grafdigger's cage is pretty nifty as well, since they hardly have anything to deal with it. Shuts down their crawlers and their undying creatures.
