Indeed fate and fortune have roshambo'd you these days Mr. G. I hate hearing that things have gone so south lately. If you ever need someone to vent to and the forums/blogs aren't cutting it, then hit me up.

Nov 30, 2007PolarBearGod posted a message on Is it a good idea?I'd be all for it, but then again I contribute a blog a week roughly since I started. Maybe this kind off thing would bring the added attention to blogs and such. I don't know the specifics on this or how best to set it up, but I think you may be on the cusp of something good Mr. Pizza.Posted in: Post-it.MtG

Nov 26, 2007PolarBearGod posted a message on WOW! No MMORPG Here!Thank you to you both. That's really nice of you to say. I don't know if I'll win either one, but I appreciate being nominated anyway. The people I'm up against are amazing in their own respects too.Posted in: PolarBearGod Blog

Nov 25, 2007PolarBearGod posted a message on My Renewed Faith:embarrass:Not to claim what you say is untrue, but I haven't seen any griping and such about the contest. I'm not the oldest person around here in the least so I haven't been privy to this stuff. Do people actually get upset over this? I was happy to even be nominated.:embarrass:Posted in: {bloggyG}

Nov 22, 2007PolarBearGod posted a message on Inspiration Via LucasThank you Alacar. I informed the people working on the signature about the change. I think I got the quote from imDb, so I thought it would be correct, but now that you mentioned that, you are correct. Thanks again.Posted in: PolarBearGod Blog

Welcome back to the game pet snake. I hope you enjoy the forums. Good blog but really hard to read in that lime green text. -
Nov 16, 2007PolarBearGod posted a message on D'awww ShucksAhh ok, you must have found my Star City stuff. Yeah, my whole hospital experience thing was a major change in my life. I used to be a pretty good player, but my declining health doesn't permit me to travel like I once did, so I started to play in just local events. My ranking took a beating, but I was happy to just be out and playing Magic again. MTGSalvation also gives me something to do, which I'm very thankful for.Posted in: PolarBearGod Blog
Thank you Galspanic. -

Nov 14, 2007PolarBearGod posted a message on Soltera Preview: Run Kobolds, Run!That looks great in a rendered frame. I'm glad you could use it. Also, Galspanic colored it, I just did the linework. Regardless, it's a nifty design you have and I hope you do well in the contest.Posted in: Alacar's Design Zone

Nov 14, 2007PolarBearGod posted a message on More ArtworkThat's fine by me. Just make sure and give Galspanic proper credit for coloring. I did the linework - Richie Proffitt. I'm not sure what Galspanic goes by other than, well Galspanic. I'm glad you like it and make sure and show me your entry if you don't mind. I'm curious to see what it looks like.:DPosted in: PolarBearGod Blog

Nov 13, 2007PolarBearGod posted a message on More ArtworkI use pen to draw in...sometimes pencil, but very rarely. I've been drawing since a little kid, but I guess I didn't really put effort in until high school. Thanks for the remarks on my pivture. I appreciate it.:)Posted in: PolarBearGod Blog

There was something remotely similar but not exactly. And yes, you can use any movie you want. An upcoming release, a new release, or something past. Just as long as it's not something you make up that isn't an actual movie.
Also...
Everyone i apologize for the late posting of the artwork contests and photoshop contests. Monday, after I returned from a Sunday evening of Magic at my local shop, I've been sick. A sore throat, congestion, and a continual ache, has throttled me since Monday. Normally I have them up by the first or no later than the second. I'll try to stay on top of this better from now on.

Welcome to the June Photoshop Contest! The theme this month is...
Blockbuster Summer of Magic
Every summer we witness some of the most dazzling movies that Hollywood and the film industry can dish to us! Your goal this month is to take any movie poster and "spoof" it into a Magic: The Gathering poster. Instead of Ghostbusters, you might do spiritbusters stopping a random spirit in Magic. There are many ways to take this, but I'm looking for HUMOR the most, so keep that in mind! Good luck!
*thanks to Warden for the idea!

Welcome to the June Artwork Contest. The theme this month is:
Summer Time!
June is here and that means summer time! We all need a break every now and again and the superstars of Magic are no exception. Your task this month is to choose any creature or planeswalker and show them enjoying the summer. Maybe Squee is off to go hiking in the Adirondacks? Maybe everyone is getting together for a huge cookout? Will Urza spend the summer in Paris? Does Juzam Djinn really go surfing? Who knows! It's your job to depict one, two, or more creatures and/or planeswalkers enjoying their summer! Good luck!

Welcome to the May Photoshop Contest Voting Thread! The theme this month was...
Be The Card!
Welcome to the May Photoshop Contest! This month you, the participant, will be taking on the task of digitally inputting YOURSELF into any Magic card of your choice! Here's your opportunity to be a Shivan Dragon, Royal Assassin, or even a Planeswalker. Maybe a spell is your type of thing? Implant yourself in a circle of evil clerics casting Hymn to Tourach. The choice is yours, but remember that the more creative you are the better your chnaces. I'm looking for something more than your face on a random mage's body. Good luck!
Here are the entries:

Welcome to the May Artwork Contest Voting Thread. The theme last month was:
It's All In The Spell
For the month of May, I would like for each participant to draw any sorcery, instant, equipment, or aura enchantment, affecting a single creature. For a prime example of this you can look at the Shock from Onslaught and see the Psychatog getting shocked. All entries must be new for this contest and you may not choose older works you've completed to enter. Good luck to all!
*thanks to Female_Kaldra_is_hot for the idea.
Forever in debt to FKiH. Please let me know if there's ever anything I can do for you in return. I appreciate this greatly and you have made me a very happy person!
You sir are tearing it up these days. Excellent work!
How would you feel about adding the other moxen to the background? Chrome and Diamond and Mox Lotus?
IMHO, that would look much better.
And the price? No thank you. I don't care if if I'm purchasing a "chance" at a piece of power. At that price, a plastic deck box with poorly artistically designed sleeves isn't worth it.
:rate0.5::no:
No it doesn't have to be vector at all. It's going to be used to create a window cling decal for a car. No bigger than a regular piece of printer paper really, is what it will be used as.:)
