Dumb luck had saved Orophin for the moment as the Giant Cobra attacked the young man. A skeleton was also coming at Orophin, but the young man tripped, and the Cobra impaled itself into the Skeleton. Two more were jumping at him.

The two remaining Ghouls lept into the air, coming down on the three tightly packed contestants, aiming to end their careers.

The Kobold Necromancer, while not the smartest cup of tea in the bunch, felt it more fun to go for the five remaining pit fighters with his reanimated skeletons. They quickly made haste towards the small group, and the other slave who thought it was in his best interest to run was quickly taken down by three of the skeletons. flesh and bone was torn from the man, and the crowd started cheering. The Amazon, The veteran, Orophin and Pandora remained.

Suddenly, the giant Cobra and the three Ghouls went for the group, with little time to react.

    "Oooh..."

Brodi shoved the clock in a pocket.

    "So, when do we leave?"

(OOC @TPC: Actually, you have been caught up in an estranged battle with a crazy denizen of doom. You might have to go back to page 4 or 5 (depending on how many posts you do per page.)

Hah, actually, I realized that I was getting sick. I was out yesterday like a fly on waxpaper. I'm feeling a little better today, and there's a whole buttload of information that is beginning to flow through me. I should be good to write later tonight.

Also, anybody know what its like to get "sick" dreams? Like, you try and dream when you're sick, but its the same thing over and over again, and you are trying to accomplish something, but can never accomplish it. I don't know, maybe I'm the only one, but they can get really F***ed up.

And if you must know, they aren't dragons, but some kind of spawn of something. The plot (of Solgard) only gets more intricate.

As far as doing a cross-platform quest, we can see what pops up.

Brodi toyed with the clock, looking it over, flipping and examining.

"Ummm... What the hell is this for?"

    "Wooooah..."

*Shakes head from crazy weekend he had*

Ummm... yeah. I'm going to get to that very soon. I've been dealing with el depresso de mi, or something like that. When I'm on a downspurt, it's really hard to be creative or do anything. Depressing thoughts suck.

Brodi looked stumped as he took another massive bite from the chicken leg he had, and finally tossed it to the ground for the cat.

"Ah geff if ooh meh meeh..."

Brodi finished chewing his mouthful, and swallowed hard. Eladrayius cocked his head and retorted. "What was that?"

"I said, I guess if you want me too. I'm always down for slayin' a demon! I've never done it before, but why not?" Brodi leaned closer to Eladrayius, and whispered to him. "Is there any 'reimbursement' for taking this thing down? You know, like Sals?"

She checked out the patch of grass and the sticks upon the grass, looking for anything interesting. Unfortunately, it turned up nothing. Just random twigs that had fallen off of the tree, and perhaps shuffled around by the wind, or blown in from the recent storm. She did notice something else, though. Something a little roundish, showing barely from the dirt nearby. It almost looked like a piece of metal, very rusted, but she would not have caught it otherwise, as it looked like a rock from before.

Ha, sometimes my mind makes up new names for things... I was actually talking about Quantum Entanglement.

    From Wikipedia:

"...Another quantum effect is quantum entanglement. In some cases, the wave function of a system composed of many particles cannot be separated into independent wave functions, one for each particle. In that case, the particles are said to be "entangled". If quantum mechanics is correct, entangled particles can display remarkable and counter-intuitive properties. For example, a measurement made on one particle can produce, through the collapse of the total wavefunction, an instantaneous effect on other particles with which it is entangled, even if they are far apart. (This does not conflict with special relativity because information cannot be transmitted in this way.)..."

My point is, nonetheless, that we are all energy and particles compressed together into atoms, into elements and into living organisms. Thus, is it not possible that because of physical interaction with anything that we are in someway connected with it? I've read much on quantum physics, and while its a handful to understand, the principle I'm describing here has been observed.

The ghouls and the skeletons were some of the first creatures to start converging on the heroes, when the other lion turned its head and made way for an approaching ghoul.

And the spiders looked intent on getting a piece of some action, as well. One of them made a leap for the bear, who clawed right back, taking off a portion of the spider's front left leg. And lucky for most of them, the Twisted Ent and the Lycanis Majori started to punch and kick it out, if you could imagine a tall tree stump kicking.

It was an all out free for all among the monsters and the arena contenders as the carnage ensued.
