    I found mental misstep to be very effective against pod especially having it in your opening hand. Countering there mana producers slows them down so much especially since sometimes they keep a low mana count hand due to their mana dudes.

    I played neos build and yet to lose to aggro, worst i came was 2-1 vs Goblins but im yet to play Temp Steel.

    I did lose to a Grand Arch Tezz deck tho. Had wurmcoils/mages/mindslaver etc. I found it hard to beat.

    When Revoker hits play you name a card you pretty much dont want them to use that uses activated abilities. Planeswalkers for example,shaman,highborn etc. Once he dies tho, they can use those abilities again.


    I feel your land base shouldnt be running tech edges. 8 colorless seems too much for me,i use to run same and got color screwed a lot? Also i will drop 2 spellskites and add another preordain, maybe one to the sideboard. I will also drop the 2 disfigures and add hand distribution to your list. (IOK,Duress,Deprise.) Turn one iok is always golden.

    -2 Disfigure
    -2spellspkite (1 to sideboard maybe for vala/twin?)
    -1 tumble magnet since your running 3 metamorphs, you can always copy another

    +1preodain
    +4 IOK/duress/deprise. i am not sure what is going to be better once m12 is good to go, hard to say.

    Sideboard: Add some flashfreezes for valakut

    How are you casting the sphere on turn one if your using the one mana for the Vault? Its either vault or sphere.

    The extra removal was pivotal in almost every win. Against Caw, you HAVE to get rid of that turn 2 Mystic, otherwise Batterskull will go to town, which is hard to recover from. Honestly, I have even thought about running steel sabotage or more Into the Roils to help combat Caw. Into the Roil is really awesome, it has even acted as a time walk for me from time to time, but then again, one of my favorite cards in magic is Boomerang, so I might be biased. Against aggro, the extra removal is 100% necessary. I originally had in two contagion clasps before I threw the swords in there, but I found myself only proliferating occasionally, late game, where I pretty much had the win anyways, so I took them out. I might take out the despise and put the clasps back in, but we'll see. I like being able to take out a bird and having late game options with Tezz.



    I run 4 swords. I might remove one sword and run three like you and have one extra removal. Between 3 preodains and 2 tezz gamits and tezz i should have no problem digging for a sword. I am trying to fit in Despise. 3 IOK and 2 Despise should help me with that stoneforge in their hand.

    lactone, i am running almost same deck but using two tezz gamits instead of the doomblades.

    Did the extra removal help? debating if i should add more removal and take out the gamits.
