Right, devoid is common to all Eldrazi while Ingest and colorless mana costs are exclusive to Ulamog and Kozilek respectively, with Emrakul having some other exclusive mechanic whenever she shows up again.
I think it depends on your LGS but usually it's a Standard tournament where winner gets the playmat. Each store gets two, so usually a tournament on Saturday and one on Sunday. I'm sure European Game Stores will also get the mats, I mean, we get them in New Zealand, sooo =P
TOs must make Gameday a STANDARD tournament, there's no other choice for sanctioning. Maximum is one tournament for Core Level TOs and two tournaments for Advanced Level TOs , therefore it might happen that your TO has only one Gameday event to boot.
And... yes, Gameday promos and playmat go everywhere in the world
Grand Prix Milan was originally scheduled for August and was going to be a Standard event; we have moved this event to be June 27–29, 2014, and it will be Theros Block Sealed/Draft.
Grand Prix Utrecht was originally scheduled in June as a Theros Block Sealed/Draft event and will now take place on August 8–10, 2014; it will be a Standard format event.
All venue information remains the same for both events.
Full details of the 2014 Grand Prix schedule can be found here.
If I cast Seeds Of Strength (or a similar card) on a creature with heroic, does heroic trigger three times or only once?
You have to count how many times the creature is targeted: the Seeds Of Strength has three "target creature" instances and is different from a "up to three creature" wording like Sea God's Revenge.
Your Heroic trigger will then fire for each of the "target creature" instances you will decide to use on your creature.
If this card goes for 1$-2$ then ok..i'll buy it. But..being a rare..and taking up a rare slot......while having the power of an uncommon (gates are common, scry 1 makes them Uncommon...NOT rare)...this card will probably be 3$-5$..and that is hugely overpriced.
I have browsed Ebay listings and I already found $25 playsets of these new lands. And the news is that someone has actually already bought some of them at that price.
Oh, well. I will be playing my Selesnya Guildgates for many months ahead, it seems.
so, if I control a permanent with "whenever a permanent you control would be exiled, shuffle it into your library instead"
do I get to fetch Obzedat on my next turn?
Well, if a Riftsweeper kicks in, then Obzedat is no longer in a public zone but in a hidden zone (the library), making all the discussion meaningless
There is no intervening "if" clause on Obzedat. Its ability is a standard triggered ability. It doesn't matter what zone it is in when the delayed trigger resolves. If it did, it would read "At the beginning of the next end step if Obzedat is exiled, return obzedat to the battlefield under its owners control
Oh, well... if you see the card, in the first ability we have the complete cardname (Obzedat, Ghost Council) while in the second ability we have just a short version (Obzedat). If they wanted to place that many words on the card, they better had to make it a double-faced wall of of text like the Huntsmaster of Fells
Joking aside, I think we're basically nitpicking. It's EDH, have fun with the best solution you can find at your tables. I'm holding my grounds in the meanwhile
The delayed trigger looks where the Obzedat was put as part of the Exile trigger. It does in fact find Obzedat in the command zone...
At least that's what my mentor said during a commander "tournament" thing that our shop hosted. An no, he wasn't the one playing Obzedat.
Don't want to get infracted for this, but can we get an L2+ over here? two L1's need help!! HAHA
I'm going to ask my facebook group to see if I can get a solid answer in Comp Rules terms.
There's no fear of infractions here, since Commander is seldom sanctioned as a format, and even when it is, it is a REL Regular tournament where the IPG are not applied.
However, my point is that the second ability states "you may exile Obzedat" meaning "you may put Obzedat in the Exile zone". That makes the delayed trigger to go searching for Obzedat in the Exile zone, and it doesn't follow through a replacement effect that may have been applied.
The Exile zone is for cards that don't interfere with the game state, while the Command zone is for special things like Emblems (for any format), Legendary Creatures (for EDH Only), schemes and planes (for Planechae only). They're two totally different game zones.
Hey, I never felt Emrakul to be female
The document has been uploaded on Sep 14th, I can't find a html version of it on the Mothership but I thought I might share anyway.
Sorry for multiposting, I searched the spoiler area but not the image gallery.
I deleted my first post hoping to erase the thread. It didn't work
Riptide Chimera 2U
Enchantment Creature - Uncommon
Flying 3/4
At the beginning of your upkeep, return an enchanment you control to its owner's hand.

I didn't find it around the forum, so I forward it here
(Mod please delete if it's known info)
I bet it will be as played as the Slivers deck.

Well, sounds like I'm heading to Svalbard Islands instead.
See you!
