Feb 4, 2014bateleur posted a message on Launch Giveaway! There are a lot of strong contenders for different reasons, but I think the overall winner is probably Warp World. At first glance it looks like a typical overpriced Red random-stuff-happens card, but actually it's a powerful and subtle weapon that has led to a lot of fun games as well as a lot of fun deckbuilding.Posted in: Announcements

Reason is, I have an older version of Photoshop (5.5) and it refuses files with that many layers. (And for various reasons I can't use illegal software on my machine.)
A deck with lots of spot removal will be weak against a deck with lots of soulshift.
A deck heavy on soulshift will be weak against a deck which stalls the ground and flies over for the win.
And numerous other comments along similar lines.
Very fast tempo decks like R/W are good because they deny opponents their late game bombs and tricky high-mana plays. However, they too have a weakness - their card power is so low that if they don't get the early damage in for any reason they get mopped up in the midgame.
The deck armlx describes has incredible late game power. However, as others have pointed out, this format isn't about the late game. If you find yourself with three bombs - that's enough ! After that, draft 2-drops and 3-drops like your life depended on it. (Because it does !)
In CCC when you get to 10th pick, you don't really need a Humble Budoka, so pick Wear Away instead. Whether this will continue to work in CCB I have no idea.
[no new card]
So... shiny new account for me ! :grin2:
Hi everyone !
