I've been attempting to tune my deck to work in my meta, which is currently very aggro heavy. I've been considering playing some number of Ruin Processor in either the side or even as a 1 of in the main, but I'm not entirely sure. I only own one Ugin and I'm not exactly chomping at the bit to get a few more when he's just about to rotate, but I'll concede that running more Ugin is probably a good idea.
In regards to playing Ruin, I've been trying to make it work, but my mana base is pretty warped right now. I would love to run maybe 2 more green sources but with Ruin + Wastes it's a hard decision.
I haven't ran into many Languish yet, but I'm honestly not that worried about it? Stubborn Denial in the main and Stroke out of the side seems like it would do good work against it.
The green was interesting at first, but ultimately I felt like it just wasn't enough. Ended up going 3-2, losing to High Sentinals that I couldn't answer in round 1 and Sagu Mauler that I couldn't answer in round 4.
So I feel like Kibler's list is definitely solid, but it needed something in the side board to deal with mono red. Even though Anger of the Gods kills a lot of our own stuff, it doesn't really matter if it means we can wipe red's board.
I've moved two of the Stubborn Denials to the main just because they're so good against basically the entire format. I've dropped 1 copy of Sarkhan from the main because I don't think planeswalkers are where we want to be most of the time. Anger of the Gods in the side for the red match up, Roar of Challenge in the side for the green match up. I find that it's basically Hornet Queen (and Elspeth in the Gw builds) that most often stops me from winning, and having 3 more copies of Temur Charm's 3rd ability really feels like it would help a lot.
My deck has a good game against everything except Gx (generally Gw) at my locals. I just can't figure out what to do about them. The Roars are something I tried out tonight but I never managed to draw them and I'm not even sure if it's good. I almost feel like I want a playset of Disdainful Stroke in the side, or maybe even a 2/2 split between the main and side. Also the Arc Lightnings are in there only until aggro stops being a thing at my locals. They're probably being changed to Lightning Strikes soon.
I ended up with 41. I figured it didn't matter too much considering it was a prerelease and I already made back my money and then some with the fetches and Sorin, and I knew I definitely wanted 18 land, and nothing seemed like an obvious cut, so I didn't think too hard about it. Ended up going 3-2, losing to two Mardu decks that both had Butcher of the Hoard. Any thoughts as to how I could have built this differently?

And now for my actual deck that I built!
As for how I did:
Won 3-0, without much trouble until round 3 where I faced UR control with a bunch of counterspells and Domestication, but in the end the powerlevel of my deck was too much.
The second option is way better if you can. It's more readable and it lets the forum build a deck by copy pasting which is more convenient.
I really like doing both sometimes. The text list is good for copy/pasting to rebuild pools, but the pictures really give you a nice easy look at a glance.
The second cluestone over the second madcap skills seems terrible to me. As you've noted yourself, an early madcap skills is still a real powerhouse in this format. You're not ramping into anything and you already have a lantern on 3 as well. They don't make Rubblehulk better because they aren't lands and casting Punish the Enemy a turn early at the cost of spending your third turn on casting a cluestone doesn't seem particularly productive to the aggressive gameplan either. Looking to play them as 5 mana cyclers also doesn't seem exciting at all either. I'm even inclined to cut the second one for the Civic Saber. That card, while pretty unexciting, at least does good work on Feral Animist (which has been very unimpressive so far from what I've seen) and Beetleform Mage. The Guildmage also feels a bit lackluster in your deck, but your final pool has little to work with and the creature count is a tad low.
P2P8: Armored Transport >>> Wildwood Rebirth. That thing is one of the best Madcap targets in the format and helps your beatdown plan, even without having battalion. Wildwood Rebirth doesn't rebuy anything of importance 95% of the time in your deck. This pick feels like a big blunder.
P2P9: Thunderfist > Tiger. That card isn't horrible and has some chance of making your deck at least.
P2P10: Spire Tracer is a good pickup here. You're likely trying to draft an aggressive deck now, have two insane 2 drop auras and removal to clear the path for them from turn 5 on. Why do you pick the mediocre defender card in your splash color over an evasive creature that works very well with madcap skills and your rubblehulk?
Overall the draft feels a bit unfocused, but that's kind of the way the packs break for you. I'm not sure how good Rubblehulk is in DGR but I found him to be mediocre to bad in Gruul in 3xGTC but I think he has more chance to shine in a less hyperaggressive format.
I agree basically on all counts here. I often sided out the second Cluestone for the second Madcap, and I never felt bad for not having the second Cluestone. The Armored Transport would have fit in great in my deck and I regret not picking it up. The Spire Tracer always felt kinda meh, but I could have definitely seen myself playing it, as I never even imagined playing the defender.

And now for my actual deck that I built!
As for how I did:
I really like doing both sometimes. The text list is good for copy/pasting to rebuild pools, but the pictures really give you a nice easy look at a glance.
