Feb 3, 2014marsdonut posted a message on Launch Giveaway!Favorite card? Just one? No direction/limit on which color, format, artist, or anything to help narrow the question down further? Well, I have many loves since starting MtG but I will suppose I will attempt to name just one. One that will shine a little brighter among the others. Arcanis the Omnipotent will have to do, because I have always loved drawing cards. While he's not the most friendly spell for a five color deck, he was one of the first rares I opened in Onslaught when I started, and really made it fun to play back before I knew the game was competitive. This card impacted my entire philosophy of deck building and play style, I would much rather draw more cards than my opponent.Posted in: Announcements

Overall, the chance to be devoted to a color excites me and I hope they rightfully support it (or make it a big deal). That said, I like it more on creatures. I can even get behind the previewed Abhorrent Overlord because running more of the same out onto the board will only increase said devotions. Hopefully time will tell if such devotions get rewarded.
I think the deck has a lot of casual appeal due to Parallel Lives and Growing Ranks. Additionally, I would have liked to have seen the original deck also packing a split card, like Alive//Well, but Advent of the Wurm fits the theme. Lastly, I believe for the card's usefulness, Rancor could get you reasonable trade offers should you part ways with it immeadiately. (And I think thats the limit to which I view this in terms of a budget purchase)
I believe they've previously said there will only ever be one event deck released from DGM onward.
Or just coincidence. I think wal-mart has all this extra m12 that they're not able to sell. :/

Lilly and Nicol Bolas are just cake at the moment. Other than M13, I'm just disappointed my hobby time is currently spent on speculating "What's coming next...". This isn't the only game doing this to me, :/

I'm fine with Liliana. She makes a couple of spells more castable. She may be doomed to fill the same number of decks Tezz 2.0 filled however. She'll do in limited. She'll do.
This item looks like a total ripoff, as I noticed varying cases holding Invasion Tournament packs (old 75card boxes w/ 3 rares, 15 unc), Mercadian Masque Scourge and Fifthdawn Pre-cons, as well as two packs of 50 sleeves of a color. One particular case only had 1 pack of 50 sleeves, but to whom best should a consumer mention this to than his internet friends.
Next to that "deal", I saw what this thread has been already describing as stand alone Commander packs, two "Mirror Mastery" deckboxes. One had the Promo Broodmate while the other had the Retaliator Griffin. Decided to snatch both of these up on the chance one was wrongfully repackaged, and I whiffed. Same exact product. (On the way home, I decided to stop at a Target and another yet smaller W-M, and neither had these cheaper commander packages. Smaller W-M didn't even have any Commander product at all, which is something I wish I could ask while this thread was checked more often. "Has the W-M store size mattered when you found these in stock?")
Does... Rush of Blood look as exposed to anyone else? I had to double take to make sure that vampire wasn't... popping out.
Why? I have no supporting information nor a clue what hints are provided from Avacyn Restored. I just want to believe. If they manage to change its color, I would have said I lost my bet. If they make it or increase its cost by up to two, I will have said I was right. (I think Price of Progress is more likely than "Weight of Spires" again.)
I'm posting because I haven't seen them mentioned much on the forum, and I want to help get them some business. Thanks
