So Im trying to log on to MTGO and i type in my password and it says it doesnt match the account. The account and password are spelled properly, and when I click "forgot password" to have it emailed to me, an error occurs and it never processes the request. Id love to be able to play again or at least get my account back. Is there anyone I can talk to about this on the phone or something, as I cant log on to chat with an ORC. Thanks for the help, its a real bummer!!
One thing people must realize is dual lands are an exceptional treat. Someone said friendly duels arent that great and anyone sharing that opinion should reflect on the times in standard when duel lands of any kind were non-existent. Weve been spoiled to have not only duel lands but also enemy duals in the same block.
I do however think they will be reprinted in some way just because its money in the bank for everyone, players included.
My friend mentioned that the decks in the old version were much more intricate. Although most aspects of the game are certainly better in the new version, its kind of true. The decks are either boring aggro or rush to get out your big guy! Im still pleased and would rather play this version but I hope the new decks that come out in the expansions will be a little more thought provoking.
On another note, what has everyone been running? I like the green blue ramp deck obviously and second to that would have the be the artifact deck. White equipment deck seems good, vampires is ok but maybe toned down from the previous.
Anyways, great game, modifying the decks is awesome and all in all i say well done, bring on the expansions!
I thought maybe it would be out at midnight EST but I can only preview a description. Anyone else anticipating this? I loved the first and now that you can pull the jank out of the decks, it should make for better game play.
Not reaping the profits of food and beverage in a gaming shop would almost be moronic. No, it is. Thats a legitimate amount of revenue that comes effortlessly to any business that simply exists. Pay attention when your out and about, youll be amazed at the places that reap the income of candy bars and bottled water alone, especially in America.
The posters arguing about spilled beverages need to consider this; would you rather have a spilled beverage purchased from next door or one from your own shop? If your banning food and beverage from your store your way off the kook radar and thats a whole nother' ballgame.
Basically, any income that can come as easily as food and beverage should be reaped by any business opening up shop, especially social hangouts like game stores. Otherwise it will be spent next door.
As far as opening your own business or doing anything really, if you want it, go get it. It might take you a year to reach success or it might take you twenty. If you go after it and don't stop until you get it, how can you fail?

Never played it before and was wondering if its similar to the play style of mtgo? I never played that either but plan on getting into it soon when I have access to a PC, or if it ever becomes Mac compatible. Since the later will never happen, this is my only resort. Is it decent?
The Eh Team is by far my favorite. It's very casual but informative. Most importantly tho, fun!
Limited Resources is amazing and I consider it to be the most informative. They talk a lot about news but mostly stay focused on obviously, limited. What makes them most informative to me however, are the things they talk about that relate to all sorts of magic in general. General play errors, card value, investment value. Two awesome dudes pretty much just dropping all kinds of knowledge in a very entertaining cast.
Monday Night Magic is a good listen. The dudes are infatuated by weiners. They are always entertaining and especially informative news wise. Conley Woods often makes appearances along with other big mtg notables.
These can all be found on Mtgcast and are really the only ones I can get around to listening too. I hear commander cast is great for EDH. Check them all out. Those are a great start.

The art is nice. My opinion will be kept silent until I am in the appropriate forum...
But also note, this is the rumor mill. New card discussion is good for talking about new cards. Once we are given information about the card, we go on to talk about its effects on the game. Sure, we have the art, but no other info about the card itself. All speculation at this point is a rumor. We talk about what the card might be/do and not actual speculation of the actual card...
Currently have a mac and need something small and cheap with windows for school. Im trying to get something that I can finally play with but, I need it to be small and cheap. I thought I read threads about people playing on them and hearing the 1024x600 screen might make it impossible. Im sure someone out there can provide some insight. I was looking at this model...
After I did all my Christmas shopping yesterday, I decided it would be fun to open some packs on Christmas, and since nobody would ever get me Magic cards, Id pick some up. So, I made a stop at my local shop. He had Worldwake packs for 3.50 so I picked up 6. I decided to grab some M11 and got 4 and called it a day.
Pulled a Novablast Worm in WW, and a Dual in the M11 and the rest is jank.
Christmas morning, my girlfriend gets me awesome presents and then in my stocking, 3 packs of Scars! I was blown away she got me Magic cards! So Im like, lets see, I just opened ten packs and pulled crud, lets see how many Tower of Calamaties I can pull...
Leonin Arbiter,Myr Reservoir, and the last pack comes with a foil uncommon and Vensor! I couldnt believe it. Hes one of my fav. Scars cards and I dont have any yet.

I dont know if its Christmas but the Magic cards were wiped out at my local target. But, they had a ton of "blister" packs. I guess everyone is staying away from these things, even big-box-go'ers trying to get whatever on their kids Christmas list.
Also,how is drafting like a pyramid scheme? I always leave feeling satisfied and getting my moneys worth whether it be in card value, entertainment value, or both.
Interesting thread. I always thought it was secretly decent in sealed. I never had the opportunity to draft it but, I bet you can get it so late that its totally worth it to try it.

I dont understand why wizards doesnt try to get modo going on macs. Macs are very popular amongst their target market age and also, why not try to get more consumers anyway? I would love to be able to drink a beer on my couch and draft after a hard day at work, thats for sure.
