  • posted a message on Ixidron + Grave Betrayal + Removal
So, my opponent has Ixidron out. The ETB trigger as fully resolved. I have Grave Betrayal out. Several of the currently morphed creatures currently on the battlefield die. Do I get them to my side of the battlefield? What I think happens is Ixidron is now a no factor when the morphed creatures prepare to move to the graveyard. so I get the normal creatures on to my side.

EDIT: The reason I ask is because another local player said that since they are morphed 2/2s, when Grave Betrayal tries to catch them on the way to the yard to bring them to my side, the morphed creature no longer exists and I get nothing.

  • posted a message on So now, whats the deal with Venser?
lets assume a broken PW dosent come out in the next two blocks what PW will u use when zendi block rotates... i think venser will be very strong in the coming 6 months with the new cards. i mean the only 2 cards to be fully spoiled from block 2 are targets for his +2. +2 loyalty for venser, i gain 3 life or u lose 3 life and my creature has pseudo vigilance.

I've had an idea for this card. Ovbiously for a U/X deck it can be hard to play it kicked. However if you play the Lux control or another form of the U/x proliferation build than this card should be in that deck. We always look for a target for our everflowing that quickly get to 6+. Why not this card. It makes their threat into 5 for us. Now sure they can DoJ but their threat will be gone also. Just food for thought.

i agree on the clasp. maybe everflowings but those 2 just seem to be staples for prolif.

distortion strike might be nice incase they stop ur major prolif. alpha strike with skith should be enough at that point.

the best sb against UB is bomb creatures. at least in my metra i played a creature heavy UW and well since there isnt mass removal in way of DoJ they got wrecked by 2 BSA and a clone.
