Can someone fix the title of this thread? It should be SDC (Standard Deck creation) not SCD (Single Card Discussion), unless I'm missing all the single card discussion?
I play tested/ gold fished on tappedout and it's pretty much turn 4 to 20 damage, even with a one-land hand (until the second appears to kick bushwhacker.
In my opinion Goblin Chieftain is the weakest card and biggest risk in the deck. The pump is so easy to lose. I wonder if Dynacharge might be a better choice, although it's terrible by itself, when Chieftain isn't. Rootborn Defenses is darn near perfect, populating our tokens, triggering Foundry Street Denizen and saving our guys. Just not in our colour.
I hope that Goblin Rabblemaster in M15 is a sign that Kans will bring us new Goblins. Personally I don't like the card in this build. It doesn't have haste, so it just sits there. It's not a lord that could replace Cheftain, and doesn't help the team. If it was a Goblin Shared Animosity, then that might be a reason to play him.
Edit: Could a list, with maybe 22 land, be able to run Frenzied Goblin for the pseudo evasion?
Ummm. Nevermind? I can't reproduce it. I had a new install of Firefox portable and I could not get it to sort with the newest on page 1, logged in, made this, logged out, restarted, cleared cache and I can't get the forum to do that again. Sorry.
My guess is that it's a cube product, and some of the cards change ownership, i.e. put a card from an opponents graveyard into your hand, change x cards in your hand with target opponent.
My current list has given me quite a bit of success at my lgs and I'm honestly thinking about taking it to a larger event. The sideboard could use a little work such as more artifact hate and another combust to deal with Splinter Twin though. He's the list:
Open to any and all suggestions regarding sideboard, but I like the way the main works well enough, though maybe try without the Simian Spirit Guides, because they are first to be boarded out.
I think you should go to 2-3 Cavern of Souls, 3 Blood Moon, and 3 Relic of Progenitus. I think five alarm fire does a better job than Goblin Chieftain.
Put the design up on Shapeways.com and I'll order from you there. They print in plastic, steel, silver, bronze and brass. http://www.shapeways.com/materials
Commune with the Gods digs and can fuel Nemesis of Mortals with creatures it puts in the graveyard. If your early creatures are dealt with, they also make Nemesis easier to cast.

I can't find any "print" or export buttons and nothing on the Tools pulldown.

Edit: Cookie Jam not Cookies Swipe. Yes it's hard to type a reply because the AppStore opens while I'm typing this!
Edit 2: Mtg Salvation is unusable on mobile with this ad!

Creature - Giant
4/7
I know Garruk, Caller of Beasts isn't budget, but he seems to fit in a creature based deck.
