I went through the last few pages and didn't find any discussion on this, so I'd like to ask about everyone's philosophy on how to sideboard out cards? I'm on Naya with Cats specifically, but I think this could apply to any build.
Deciding what to bring in is generally easy, but the deck's redundancy means that boarding out cards can be awkward. At what point is a sideboard card more valuable than a Bolt equivalent? Here are some of the rules I abide by.
- Searing Blazes come out vs. creatureless or big creature decks (RG Breach, Tron. non-Delver UWx decks)
- Eidolons out on the draw vs. Affinity
- Atarka's Commands stay in against decks that I suspect might have Anger
- Goblin Guides out on the draw vs. the mirror and slower UWR decks
- Rift Bolt is generally the worst of the Bolts, especially if I suspect Spellskite
- some non-Eidolon creatures and Atarka's Command out on the draw vs. Jund (turn 2 Goyf eats almost everything)
What does everyone else think? Are there any obvious guidelines I might be missing?
Things I ask myself a lot:
- Do I keep Eidolon in in the mirror?
- When do I board out Nacatls?
- What's the right time, if any, to take out player-only burn (Lava Spike, Boros Charm, Atarka's Command)?

Whenever you cast a noncreature spell, put a lore counter on ~.
2W: Put a lore counter on ~.
W: Until end of turn, becomes a Monk Avatar creature in addition to its other types and gains "This creature's power and toughness are equal to the number of lore counters on it."
The most awkward part of the Vial/Weaponsmith interaction is that you can't even reliably draft it--Weaponsmith is an uncommon from a set you'll only be opening one pack of, which happens to be the last pack of the draft.
I really don't understand what makes the Elemental a mythic. Just the low CMC? Its defensive ability leaves it extremely vulnerable unless you can hold up 5 mana, and it can't even be given any sort of evasion? I might just biased because of the Aetherling comparison, it probably doesn't go in the same decks Aetherling would but the non-Narset mythics in this set have been largely disappointing.
I'm adding to the brownnosing, but the poster is known not to be a troll. If this adds any legitimacy to his claims, he recently sold a BGS 9.5 Beta Lotus for $25k.
For anyone following that Facebook group, he also posted a cropped image of a misprinted Ulamog with Beleren font as well. The misprint was a SMS of 10 instead of 11, and he similarly claimed there were <5 of them worldwide. Does anyone know what happened to the post/card?
I'm worried about the lack of mention of Android support. I haven't played Duels 15 since Hearthstone showed up, but this could be what brings me back to it.
Since when is zoo weak to LD and blood moon? The deck consists of 1 and 2 CMC cards and the deck also plays singleton forest and plains so that it doesn't die to BM.
While Gruul/Naya Zoo might not be as vulnerable to LD/Moon effects as you say, the deck in question is Domain Zoo, which is the only version that runs Tribal Flames. Considering that version wants to have full Domain (is that the right terminology?), so t relies on shocks and fetches even more.
On a side note, having played Naya Zoo since the Nacatl unban, I've noticed that while boarding Bloon Moon in against it is probably incorrect, I've lost a few games to it just because sometimes you don't draw the Forest or green fetch in time. Still need the set of Wooded Foothills/Windswept Heaths though, so I'd imagine that makes games go a bit more smoothly.
Domain Zoo can play both, as they're the most mana-efficient burn there is. The deck never really took off though since it's so fragile to land destruction/Blood Moon, and the damage you're taking from your own lands becomes relevant when you only play shocks and fetches. I wouldn't be surprised to see more people try it out with the allied fetches now in Modern, although I'm not too sure how that affects the deck in practice. Still, Tribal Flames-Snap-Tribal Flames is still ten damage with two cards...
I'd still not expect it to go for MSRP even with less appealing cards for most Buurning of Xinye is 100 on SCG right now and Rolling Earthquake is at 150.
Both cards were only printed once and are casual favorites...
Burning of Xinye althought its a $80+ card now it has this price only cause its hard to find and people like this card , but otherwise its not competitive soo its price is only based on its rarity
I think Warden of the Beyond seems a little out-of-place--my guess is Khans will have an Imprint-like mechanic that the Warden punishes. Would a consistent 3-mana 4/4 with Vigilance be too powerful?
I really can't wrap my head around the logistics of Lore Seeker. I can't watch the video/stream right now, so could anyone clear this up for me?
Assuming this is pack 1: You draft Lore Seeker. Your next pick is from the new pack. What happens to the pack that was supposed to be passed to you (from your right)? Do you just get new two picks next pack? Do you draft Lore Seeker and the next pack's first pick simultaneously? Does it replace the pack Lore Seeker was in?
The biggest thing 'revealed' so far is the planeswalkers that will be in M15
Gideon, Nissa, Chandra, Liliana, Jace, Garruk
With Garruk being pretty clearly GB, and the "face of the set", like Bolas and Chandra before him.
Nissa is 100% a new version, Garruk too, and likely Gideon 3.0 is happening.
I believe you, I just wish you'd have provided some kind of source--yours is a name I recognize, but what's to stop any other schmo from spreading false information? A lot of people in this thread have already taken your word without question.

Personally, I don't see why that isn't okay while things like Pongify and Rapid Hybridization are, but alas...

I expect Rolling Earthquake to retain some of its value, as it's functionally the only X burn spell that hits everything, including fliers.

Come on Wizards, give me my 2CMC 4-damage non-Flame-Rift burn spell
