TL is hilarious to me. Besides smoke stack, humility and sweepers, 3 CMC cards were what the majority of my edh decks were composed of. And people hated how I played. Now it's own format.

I'll use this time to talk about other stuff. We got ROCKED at work today. It doesn't help I work at a place were 90% of the customers spend their time taking photos of their food and the cooks. You may see me in the news soon. And not because I saved a life. It will be the exact opposite.
Apparently life gain stops being bad when it's on a bear. Apparently buyback for 4 is great. Get to 6 mana, protecting this 2/2 and you can get a free 6 mana man-leak every turn.
It was being compared to BOB and stoneforge, and even deathrite; Cards that will net you insane advantage if left to untap. It's a card that requires other cards to do anything other then just sit there. That's not OMFG broken, that's a card that fits well into a shell. Not broken, not a 40 dollar card.

In other news, I'm laughing my as off at the soulfire grand master rumor mill posts. Everyone is blowing load after load over this card. I don't see it.

Any way. I think I can build a good starter hate bear marath deck for under 80 dollars. Yeah I'm out of the game, but I do still enjoy playing, so I'd like a deck to play every once and a while.

Me and my partner just played two games. It's really a fun game. I won game one, she won game two. The rules are simple but there's deep levels of complexity buried in there. Great game. I highly recommend picking it up.
I'm drinking Sleigher by ninkasi and watching a show called looking. (it's an HBO show about gay men in san fran) My girlfriend picked it and It's honestly not that bad.
Or maybe it's just a distraction from how ******* sore my arm is good right now. Galspanic did a 6 hour tattoo on me yesterday. Don't think I'll do that long a session again.

The only bad thing is I've been deep into a new body of work and painting with a swollen bleeding fore arm is not an option.

I did start playing pathfinder again and have been getting into board games. Have to feed the nerd monster somehow.

I sold my cards about 3 months ago, so I haven't been playing much, besides drafting.
