Really dumb argument. the reason for the price hike of decks is certainly not the demand. The reason is: You need more rare and mythic cards to build one!
If decks were like in the past, a higher demand would lead to higher numbers of boosters opened and thereby more supply and the same price of the decks.
But since you have to open alot more boosters statistically to have all the cards you need for your deck, they are more expensive. That is the only reason.
If you bought 2 boxes in the (by this time distant) past, you had every card you needed from that set.
If you do that now, you can be happy, if you open 1 Voice.

Certainly possible, perhaps even likely. On the other hand Serum Visions did not really need to be reprinted in MM since it is both cheap and very easy to get, but that does not mean that it can't be reprinted either.
2/ea is cheap for a common? Not even so sure about easy to get.
My problem is just that it's a boring enchantment, almost not worthy of being an enchantment. It scrys a tad, and provides unblockable (despite activated abilities being more commonly associated with creatures). That's it, and that's a fairly random two abilities for an enchantment to have (indestructible doesn't really matter on a weak enchantment).
I'm not saying she's a fake card, I'm saying if the rest are similarly bad enchantments, a year from now Mark will look back on this design as a failure.

The more playable cards, the cheaper they are. Voice was $45+ because DGM was so terrible. When a set is filled with 99% garbage and 1% gold, that gold is going to be mighty expensive.

Last I checked the best of the best are all expensive, why we have 5$ commons and 10$ uncommons, why Deathrite is 15, etc

I would almost bet AoT will be in the $10-$15 dollar range by the time Theros comes out. I don't really understand its price and hype. Its currently hovering in BSA territory which is not even close to what its worth. I wouldn't even give $5 a piece for them, honestly. I mean Resto Angel's price has tanked thanks to rotation and is now under $8 per. And it has a modern home! At 5 mana it doesn't even do as much as the Hydra.
You don't get much do you? Angel is amazing, is played in Standard AND Modern, and in some ways is better then Baneslayer....don't expect to see it below 15 anytime soon, should even hold 20-25 for a good while, not to much more as it's a 1-3 of in the decks that want it.

When I asked about whether or not they ever planned to hold drafts or sealed they all said they were waiting for the second wave. They were banking on there being a lot more than what came. But yeah it was really weird for me to check all of the local stores and not find a draft or sealed event. The closest one was about 3 hours away, so it would have meant a six hour drive to the store and back. I have funds for cards, but it is a hobby not a way of life for me.
The problem with complaining to your Card shop is that they can simply refuse your future business or ask you not to play in their tournaments any more. My closest store is less than 15 minutes away with the next one a full 30-35 minutes farther away. I am not going to risk loosing that when you put gas prices into the mix. Now would a store do that? It depends on how much you push the issue and how obnoxious you try to be.
It is just safer to simply vent ones anger here on the internet where the only punishment is "guidance" from the admins, who are not really annoyed with complaints as long as they stay civil. If the admins are annoyed then I apologize for saying otherwise. Plus you don't have to read a person's message, which is a lot easier that trying to drown out a person's voice.
The only issue is that for some such as myself had the money but all of my local stores pre-sold their stock and left none for draft or sealed events. I still have over $60 in my wallet that I had saved to go to one of these events but there never was an opportunity to spend it. And because there was so much hype about this product being awesome to draft and such, buying three or four packs online seemed kinda sad to do on my own.
Is this the story for every person that didn't go to a MM event, no. And honestly I support you in what you have said. If you had an event near you and the only thing stopping you was lack of funds, you could have found the funds by working odd jobs or selling off un-important cards.
Problem with venting at WoTC, if it actually does anything, it's nothing good, and just something more for people to complain about.
This constant whining is just stupid, it's a bunch of grown men acting like 4 year olds who don't get their way.
I also don't understand this limited availability BS, I was able to get multiple boxes at MSRP, hell Is till can, I ran out of money long before I ran out of product to buy.
To be honest I think half the people who can't get this product are being lied to by their stores, and that it has zero to do with WoTC whatsoever......
