Ty Pantheon. I agree with the bonfire statement, but as of right now i have 1 as soon as im able to get another 2 or 3 it will change. I like the priest combo just like bolas a lot more. I will probably do your suggestion for the negates. Have u tried this build? I hit deadeye combo rather frequent, and bolas is just nuts when i don't.
Im confused by your post this is a deadeye combo thread and u made a heartless architect deck. Try in their form. On another note this is my current build thoughts?
i want some actuall criticism on my build. I went with grisix and haven't been dissapointed at the least. In testing of the 12 games i played i lost once due to flooding. If you want card explanations I will give them when asked. Without further adieu my build.
I split first with u/r delver. The deck played really quick and was surprisingly awsome. There was no situation it didnt handle. I went 5-1 for the night. Only game loss was to b/u zombies, and that was doto my play error on 3rd game. My rounds went like this..
Round 1 1-2 zombies
Game one was drawn out and real close he was sitting at 6 life and I was at 4 when he black suned for 3 with 2 captains and crawlers.
Game 2 I walked right over him by turn 5 with double hellrider and huntmaster plus token.
Game 3 he got me with double captain. My play error was a greedy arc trail where I killed his only creature damn crawler and 2 to him. If I would of played sphere and waited to arc his captain and crawler the next turn I believe the outcome would of been diff. This is also when I relized how important the ramp was in this build.
Round 2 mono g aggro 2-0
I simply out paced him both games. And I sided in natrulizes second game that took care of his sworda.
Rouns 3 was u/g dredge 2-0
Games went fast he simply couldn't deal with falknearath. Game 2 I sided in cages and he was pretty well shut down.
Round 4 w//b tokens 2-0
I slaghtered him game 1 arcs really shined.
Game 2 was a lot closer I sided in ratchets and a singl slag dropping go fers. He ended up exiling my board while was top decking he had a virtue, 5 spirits, bloodline keeper with a vampire and Stoney silence on board shutting down my bombs. He said do u concede? I said no just call me yugi because I believe in the heart of the cards top decking my single slag and wiping his board then using ferngaf to get Back my titan that he bladed. Next turn dropping titan and top decking metamorph with enough mana to cast he concedes.
Round 5 u/g ramp control 2-0
Game one went fast and he just didnt have answers. Game 2 he mindcontroled 2 huntmasters that he never let flip and garruk ate one and titan took care of the next. In short its the first time hes gotten 20d all night.
Round 6 u/r delver I split
Now I did play bim for fun just to see and 2-0d him just kept dropping threats untill one stuck and there was nothing he could do.
All in all the allstars of the deck was hellrider and falknearath. Both under played and needs more exploring.
I've been trying builds with Olivia and Bloodline Keeper for a while but I haven't found anything that I've been happy with to date. Your list is definitely quite different from what I've been trying.
How are you protecting your Bloodline Keepers from heavy removal lists like UB control and Zombies? Is that what the Hunt Masters are for, to try and bait out the removal?
How is the Bloodhall Working out for you? What about the land that the UW control lists use that returns a random creature from your GY to your hand? All of your creatures seem worthy of coming back, perhaps with the exception of the Solemn Simalcrums.
With no real card advantage engine or inevitably (like WRR) how are you finding the decks consistency?
I do use huntmasters to bait the removal. It seems to work well because if left uncheckEd they are deadly in there own right. As for bloodhall, its not so good. I was looking for a mana sink, I think wolf run sounds better. Ill try the land your talking about if u know the name of it. As for consistency it does well, but it needs more draw so im thinking maybe a little faithless might be in order.
Ive been testing this build for the past 1 1/2 months. Currently 32-7, its gone under many changes and I finally decided to bring it to you guys for criticism. Please be blunt and helpful. It handles the current meta very well.
I made some changes to the build. I personally didn't like so many dorks but loved the ramp so I replaced the elves for emissary. Went with a little more burn/removal put swords in the side although that may change. Let me know thoughts.
I went 6-1 last night only loss to u/r delver due to lucky top decking on his side and me being flooded. But beat him in finals for 1st much better game herw turn 5 elesh really helped and skites helped for the snags, and brimstone volleys. I beat u/b heartless, 2 u/w control, mono green aggro, junk pod, and the delver. Lots of different brews and lots of fun. The oculus replacement over skite has proven itself fpr sure.
