I of course run 4 dungrove elders and i run 4 predator ooze. Ive decided to just stick with bellowing tanglewurm. I like my creatures to be resilient and this just doesnt do it for me. thank you for all the input.

Is there any reason why people arent running Wurmcoil engine? Especially if you are running dorks?

Because we dont really intend to use 6 drops to win becuse this is suppose to be an aggro deck. when things are going well for me they should be dead on turn 5 or 6. we could get away with it if we wanted to run a late game finisher as a back up plan but generally in an aggro deck you should go all out i would think.

Also i am not sure how many are using garruk but I swear he has never gotten into a game that I even won. I would much rather it be a GSZ everytime.

    Champion of Lambholt

I am building a MGA deck and I am going back and forth over whether to keep just a singleton of bellowing tanglewurm and tutor him up with GSZ or to run a playset of champions.
has anyone on here been playing with this card and can tell me how its been doing for them? it feels like it will compete with predator ooze for the three spot because both need to get to the board asap in order to be most effective.

I play online so I dont have access to avr yet but even without its significant contribution I have found a ton of success. I have only one question. what do we do against humans? its seems like every game they get out mirran crusader whihc is game over for me. unless i have already super dominant board position and they are low on life.

alright i traded in my B/G pod list. dont get me wrong its really fun when it works but its still a very slow steamroller. what I mean byt that is it adds a long clock that has inevitability unless they nuke your big guy and set you back three turns. /aimless tangent.

ok what i am tring to say is that your deck really doesnt want pod. its nice when its there at the perfect spot but so are a whole ton of cards. if you can do anything to dogde all of the artifact hate online i thinkyou should.

I like the theme of this deck. Does anyone have any positive results I can see where this did well against other established decks.

seems like it would work well in a GSZ list but for me a 5 drop needs to get in do its thing and get sacced. my slimes are never going to be removed and vorapede can win games on his own if i dont draw birthing pod.

My bad i missmy whole 2 drop.
    3x viridian emmisary
    4x strangleroot geist
    1x boneyard wurm

the control decks are my problem. they just wear me down if i dont land a turn 2 pod.

i am not working on a budget i just dont want to play naya pod. i have solemn and glissa. the problem with solem is that he never really preformed allthat well for me even when i ran extra ramp. and glissa keeps bringing back metamorhs and has only once brought back a pod.

I do have 3 acidic slimes and I use them mainly as land hate then i turn it into a 6cc guy.

i went without sheoldred and took moldgraf so that i could have some more resistance to removal that brings back guys when he dies.
I am going to think about running more spells and less creatures but it really feels neccesary to have them.

I will explain any of my card choices if anyone is interested. also not only do i need help building a sideboard but I also need to figure out what to get rid of and when. I find it hard to figure out which creatures to remove and when. even after around 150 games with this deck and many other variations of it online im still at square one.
once again any tips tricks or advise will be appreciated.

Bloodgift demon is nice in theory but has only once helped me win a game and that as a chump blocker for a concecrated sphinx. reaper is nice as long as your opponent has creatures on the field.
Im curious how has mimic vat worked for you? i have never used it.
I really like sheoldred and if she sticks you get your 6cc guys back.
I think we should always run at least 2 tomb exarchs. it really helps to be able to recur threats after a board wipe.

I have been playing b/g pod online for a week now and I will just throw some things out there. Glissa has never really done much for me other than act as a delaying tactic with her first strike and death touch, I would only run one of her. Phyrexian metamorph Is nice but I don't like to have any creatures I can't cast with mana alone, those little shocks add up. I also am not sure why you don't run four birthing pods. I would keep ratchet bombs in the sb for the token matchups. Wake dancer is the best we have in our colors and she works best as a one of so you have that right. Skin render I normally leave ou because he can't be cast on an empty field and you are going to see a lot of empty fields with the speed you can get with a little luck in this deck. You should run four lanowar elves. I can never argue with warm oil but I personally run one grave Titan and one massacre wurm. I may have only been playing a week with this but with the help of mtgo I have played a couple hundred games with all different variations. There is more I could say but they are just tweaking options and such.

Does anyone else run ball lighting? I run it as a 2 of and have never been unhappy to draw it. 3 shocks in one card even if it has to survive to attack once is very nice. maybe one in 4 times it gets pte before it swings but usually it makes it through.

I only won 5 of 14 games but when i was able to get kor spirit dancer out there and protected it was amazing. I didnt even damage one guy, he just conceded when I hit 150 life.

Stony silence is only a 2 casting cost card and should be in the side board for all decks with white in it imo.

loam lion seemed like a good idea in theory way before i made the deck. its now gone. wall of omens and visionary are there to cycle through cards just like sigil of the nayan gods. they do there jobs quite well. hell they even provide enough defense to sin me games against vengevine decks.

I'll will post more later... maybe even figure out my mana situation.
