MTG Salvation

Hey guys, this is my first post on here. I have been playing magic for about 4 years. I have a lot of decks made but i need help deciding if i should build a blue red control deck. the cards that i have and could/would use in it are: Rimescale Dragon,Sphinx Ambassador, 3 lightning bolts, 1 sulfurous blast, 1 grab the reins, 1 threaten, 1 act of treason, 4 flame bursts, 1 energy vortex, 4 shape stealers, 4 binding grasps, 2 firecat blitz, 1 impatience, some counters of course, lava burst and/or kaerveks torch, 3 erratic explosion, 3 planar chaos, 2 uphill battles, 2 rain of embers, 2 fire ants, and maybe a hellfire mongrel, and some cursed racks with viseling.

What do you guys think? is it worth it? or should i put forth my efforts elseware? Any and all help would be helpfull.
