If I have a Garruk's packleader and a Creakwood Liegein play would I draw an additional card each turn when my wurm generated by the liege is out into play in my upkeep?
I cast lightning Bolt, followed by a second Lightning Bolt
Would I have to declare what I was targeting as soon as I cast the card?
These spells including they're targets would then be placed on the stack and priority passed if I had no more spells to cast.
My Opponent then responds with a counterspell and chooses a target for they're spell.
Once priority has been passed by each player in succession the spells then resolve,
The Counterspell first as it's on top of the stack preventing one of the Lightning Bolts from being cast and then the remaining Lightning Bolt is cast.
Firstly I'd like to clarify that I don't select a target at this point, or do I?.
My opponent then has the chance to play a counter ability spell/ effect or any protections, In this case my opponent has a mother of runes and a vile deacon they then activate the [[mother of runes]] ability to give protection to a target creature.
Again I have assumed that I don't use the ability yet in case there is another response.
They then pass priority back and once its been passed through all players consecutively the effects and spells begin to resolve, the mother of runes ability is used and targets the vile deacon giving it protection from Blue so that it can not be the target of the Nicol Bolas, planeswalker ability. This effect has now resolved and the only viable target for the take control of target creature ability is Mother of runes and as such I now have control of the creature.
My question is, Have I done this correctly? or have I miss interpreted the rules along the way?
Ok I feel I may have over complicated the question a little.
In the case of the Charbelcher it says until I find a land; what if I search through the library and don't find a land?
Does the Charbelcher then deal damage equal to that many cards even though I didn't hit a land?
My understanding of this is some what limited but don't if I don't hit a land then surely I can't move on to the next step of what the card says and then I can't continue to resolve the card and then I'm stuck.
I found this opinion online, is it correct?
"If there are no more land cards in your library, you reveal all cards in your library, do damage equal to the count, and then put your library in any order you want."
Is revealing a card the same as drawing a card for the purposes of losing a game?
My example is with Goblin Charbelcher it says that I must reveal cards until I reveal a land, and if I reveal cards until my library is no more do I lose the game?

Is this correct
Nicol Bolas, Planeswalkers -2 ability was activated and put on the stack,

Any help in this would be very useful.

If not what does happen?
Thanks for any help you can give me.
