Wow I'm stupid. I've been running Ezuri and I never even thought about that regeneration. I have been running 3 Leatherback's and the same 2/3 Nissa package though. How does Plummet help against RDW though? Thanks for all the help so far.
I tried searching and I couldn't find anything. How do you play against RDW with elves? I'm fairly new to competitive Magic but iterally 4 out of every 5 decks I play online are RDW and I feel like I stand absolutely no chance against them. Any sorta advice on how to pilot elves against them would be appreciated.
I ran almost that exact list (-1 Garruk, -2 Mana Leak, +1 Shared Discovery, +2 Unified Will, -2 Forest, -2 Island, +4 Misty Rainforest) at an FNM and got 2nd with it. It's really, really solid and consistent.
Honestly I wouldn't run mana leak because it's totally dead late game and any game where you don't have more creatures than your opponent you're probably going to lose anyway/should have mulliganed/etc.
The Garruk as a 2-of is nice. I only ran 1 because I only had 1. Try to see if your friends have fetches you can borrow if you don't have them because they help SO much.
