Looking to purchase some pimped out foil basics to use in all of my constructed t2, what would you guys suggest? I'm currently very partial to ravnica islands and champions of kami mountains!
I'm trying to get into the habit of recording my drafts and using audio commentary to go along with it, like the pros do. What are the best program options available to me for this?
Anyone have any tips for someone who really needs to improve their shuffling game? As is, I mostly rely on pile shuffling. I'll also work half of the deck into the other , but I always seem to manage to tear through sleeves this way.
Does anyone know of any resources or just have general tips? Thanks!
Mostly just for convenience sake, I'd rather keep my decks in boxes within the case rather than just pull out sleeved piles from the thing. Thanks for all the input!
Anyone have one of these? Looking into buying one myself and wondering on the quality. Are the deckbox slots big enough to hold an ion armor deck box??
A group of friends and I made plans to attend the upcoming GP Nashville and went ahead and reserved a room for two days (Friday and Saturday). Unfortunately, some schedule changes have made attendance now impossible for us. We also booked through Expedia, so the rooms are non-refundable.
Thus, I'm looking to sell a two bed room at the four-star Hotel Preston. The cost is $76 a night, with total lodging fees for the stay coming to $178.88. It's a really great location, and it's only 15 minutes away from the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center (site of the GP).
Feel free to reply here or send a private message with any questions or interests. Simply looking to work something out while simultaneously providing a needy Sealed-goer with a roof over their head
Is it just me, or is mono-blue artifacts a reasonable deck proposition?
You have trinket mage and a really nice toolbox for him (Mox, Brittle Effigy, Chalice, Chimeric Mass).
You have the potentially busted Grand Architect, along with great bombs (wurmcoil) and good utility creatures (Argent Sphinx).
If you can achieve metalcraft (not unreasonable at all), you have counterspell in the form of stoic rebuttal. You've also got ratchet bomb which is just an overall good card.
There's also Riddlesmith, which I'm sure could accommodate some more cheap artifacts (which also help with metalcraft).
And then, of course, you've got blue staples (Big Jace, Mana Leak, Into the Roil, etc).
Is this deck actually doable, or am I just being bad and U/W is still miles ahead??

Pulled two Vensers this weekend, friends and I are debating about whether to sell them.
At the moment, not an incredible card. I feel like it has fantastic potential, but that remains to be seen. Trading right now around 40ish, and that will probably go down. However, I'm not really hurting for cash either.
What should I do? Sell the guy now or hold onto them and see what unfolds
Star city's buylist is being revamped, was wondering if anyone knew off the top of their head what the prices were for the bulk buylist. Thanks in advance!
The consensus among friends and forum goers seems to be that multiple booster types is a good route. Where can I get booster packs of older sets for a reliable price without going the whole box route?
Hi there! It's almost my birthday, and a couple of friends and I wanted to buy a box for some limited celebrations. What, in your opinions, would be the best to get?
Two main things to consider:
Lasting Value: I'm okay with drafting older sets, but I'd like to draft ones that have cards that are still played today (Legacy etc). Which sets have the highest number of still-valuable cards (ones with 9 dollar uncommons are always fun)
Fun Factor: Is the set fun to draft? The more ridiculous the better!
Unhinged and unglued are kind of meh to me, the lands are alright but nothing else has any value outside of that one draft.
Looking for the best places to game, what are some locations with large player groups and good prize support? Also what places support tournaments with prizes beyond normal fnms
What do you guys think? I originally found this list a while into ROE so I'm sure by now there are some updates and changes that can be made. Any suggestions?
