I started out as a combo player. I was the definition of a Johnny. I loved to try to find crazy combos and try every single way to make them work. Over time I have grown fond of beating down. The red zone is where I feel most comfortable therefore it is only natural that I send creatures into it.

Just wanted to chime in with my opinion on the topic of slurs.
Being Jewish I have been called a **** on a few occasions and It is hurtful. The word is charged with a meaning that I dislike and for that reason I feel the same way about the "N" word. The word has been associated with a meaning of hate at one point in history and whenever someone says it it evokes that feeling of hate weather one meant it or not. I think that even African Americans should not say it towards each other because it still has the hateful meaning. Not to mention it makes white people feel like it is okay to say in a casual manner. whenever I hear someone say it around me I politely ask them to watch their language and if they try to get hostile towards me I try to explain to them the best I can why I find it offensive and ask them again to watch their language. I feel that the best thing we can do regarding slurs is to just avoid them in general.

I only own three edh decks and some trade stuff (for edh pimp obv). I just borrow standard decks from a friend. When it comes to legacy I either play my buddies cephalid breakfast, high tide or storm. I'm a mooch; what can I say? My play group has a great network of lenders to help out new players. Typically there is a guy who lends out 6-8 decks for FNM.

Blue Black Tezzeret infect won my game day. I did poorly with Tempered Steel. So many slagstorms...

I got crushed in the top 4 of my local PTQ by Martyr and decided to give it a try. Here is my list

Boy do I have a story!
I was playing in a SCG invitational qualifier. Top 8 and playing against none other than Tom Ma (so dreamy)... It is nearly two in the morning because we didn't get started till after the PTQ ended. I am on Eldrazi Green/White and he is on R/B Vampires. The board looks something like this me: 10 lands sun titan, 2x wurmcoil (freshly cast), 2x overgrown battlement, wall of omens; Him: 4 lands (all black sources) Kalastria Highborn and 3 other vampires. I am at 8 life. He has no good attacks and passes. His EOT I tap my two battlements for a summoning trap (for rub-ins) I confidently lay my Kozilek, Butcher of Truth onto the table. Untap. Upkeep. Main1. Declare Attackers. Turn only Kozilek sideways. Tom taps 4 Lands and Says GG. My friend Ricky smacks the back of my head.
And that friends is how I got the nickname Kozilek, Botcher of Games.

I'm going to be testing a jund pod list of some sort. Huntmaster of fells seems good in it.

I had an opponent who didn't know how his cards worked (angels grace and phyrexian unlife while at 0 life to be specific) and when I called a judge (who called 2 more and the head judge) to tell him how they did he started raging on the judges and calling them less than savory names. I am unsure what happened, but I am pretty sure he was ejected from the event hall at least.
The moral of the story: Be nice to judges even if you dont like what they are telling you. Also, know how your damn cards interact.

I have been trying to watch videos on Channelfireball's website using Firefox. I keep getting the following error message:
This video stream is currently unavailable. Please try again later.
error code: PE_FMS_CONNECT_FAILED
I made sure my plugins were all up to date then when that failed I uninstalled and reinstalled firefox.
If anyone has experienced and resolved this problem or knows how to resolve it any help would be great.
Oh yeah, I can get it work in other browsers but no other browser properly blocks embedded video ads.

Edit: NVM it is just the newest version of FF. Version 9.1 has a bug preventing embeded videos from playing. 9.0 still works properly.

Down in the springs all we can get is 1V1 commander. There also tends to be "competitive" level decks played more often.
