Feathas - certainly that would be true, if code were static. But most code for high level operations is evolving code, not static code. It constantly refines itself down set paths. While granted, we set those paths, this is not so different from organic evolution where we evolved down paths set for us by nature.
Intelligence is an emergent system. While its unlike gen 1 robots would be anywhere near that, it's more than likely that we'll achieve it sometime soon.
Code can have multiple paths to choose from based on circumstances, but it can only possibly use those paths and you can predict 100% of the time which it will pick because it will do what it's programmed to do, and that's all it can do. Unless you can show a source/example of an "evolving code" that can change itself, I'm going to have to say that nothing of that sort exists yet.
A robot is not going to spontaneously gain consciousnesses, no matter what you see in movies or on TV. It's just physically impossible. I personally think that it's great for machines to be manning the front line. It will save soldiers lives. Would you rather fight against a human being that you know feels all emotions, including fear, or a robot that will not hesitate to kill you and won't get afraid or run away? yeah, I'd rather fight the person too. In my opinion, it's better to scare your enemy into surrendering than killing him. And if they don't surrender, it's better we have a robot in harm's way instead of a soldier in danger.
The goal of the deck is to get out as many of the creatures as possible, and once you have a Lightning Coil out just start recklessly attacking with them/sac them at your opponents end step, and overrun them with many 3/1 elemental tokens. Any critique?
/b/ is the deepest and purest form of humanity. Even if it's not truly anonymous, it gives a very good illusion of it, and when that happens, people show who they truly are. Of course there are going to be trolls and sickos posting child pornography, but if you look past that, there's positive emotion too.
I'm currently in high school, and I have 1 friend who lurks. She is anything BUT emotionally detached. I also know of 3-4 kids who i'm not friends with but are your stereotypical "geek" who gets teased. I'm not great friends with them because i find them painfully awkward to talk to, but i still talk to them like before class starts or something, and I stick up for them whenever I hear people say things about them. They seem to me like they're "emotionally detached," but I'd bet almost anything that 4chan did not cause it, and with or without the website they would be like that.
with photoshop you should be able to specify the size of the image when you print it. change it from inches to mm. a card is 63x88mm, but the template might not be exactly that. it might need some tweaking
So the general idea is you get out the island as quick as you can and then pump out forests with the searches, and then tutor up the beacon of Creation. Because it goes back into your library, and you've thinned the deck considerably, you should keep getting it or a tutor reasonably consistently.

I think I'm going to stick with the G/U approach, the main purpose for this deck is more to have fun and less to win, And i've always wanted an overrun deck and i really like the fungi. I might later get some of the more aggro cards and try it like that, but i definately want to make it saproling-overrun based for now.
That completely slipped my mind. I knew i wanted Overrun in this deck, but for some reason i blanked out on it and never put it in. I knew about paradox Haze, but never thought to put it in this deck. I streamlined it a little, took out some that felt superfluous, and I changed my mind on Life and limb. While it would give me more Saprolings, it puts too much of my mana base in too much danger IMO.
ehh I use old newspapers that everyone's allready done with, so it doesn't really matter. Also, you can just flip one sheet over/swap one layer and it's fine, it doesn't bleed through.
Yeah I've landed on Funguses. I've looked at most of those cards, The letter 3, but most of them seemed too expensive to play. Here's a preliminary deck:
