bought some Korean cards yesterday, and yes I know Korean and looked over the translated card lists.
personally, I don't think the translation is bad. and certainly not horrible, you can understand the rules and some cards are better explained than the English versions.
most of the fuss about the translation is the 'flavor'. the biggest issue of that being Worldslayer. while the Japanese version translation was 'World cutting sword', they went with the Chinese style and made a new name - Cheonhamuljulgum. and some people found that name to be vulgar.
it's just another cycle of people moaning when something new happens to the MTG environment(remember what happened to double-sided cards?) only except that the subject is Korean cards.
but I have to admit. there are some errors in the translation that needs to be fixed. for example, Drakes are translated as "Baby Dragons", which confirms whoever translated this never played magic but played too much WoW, but that kinda mistakes happens at other language cards as well. so I hope those kinda problems should be fixed.
I doubt this is true: I'll need to see hard evidence to actually believe it.
The reason why Wizards didn't print Shatterstorm in Mirrodin 1 is they same reason they didn't print Extinction in Lorwyn: it completely destroys everything they've been working towards in the set so far. I seriously doubt they'll print this.
SOM is not an artifact themed set. that's why it didn't have many artifacts in SOM like what original Mirrodin had.
OH GAWD WHY. That pisses me off so much if that's true, it's stupid enough getting a land in almost every pack, NOW WE GET 2? If that's taking up a common or uncommon slot, F*** it, I'm not gonna buy a box or even any boosters, I'll just pick up the singles I want and trade for the rest.
The last thing I want to do is waste money on basic lands.

the reason why I mentioned this is small sets usually don't have their original basic lands, unless they're played in limited separately. but MBS isn't. so it looked weird for me.
and yes. that does mean BLs takes away card slots too. although I don't think they have too many.
If your source is correct then I commend you on the spoiling. If your source is incorrect I hope you get banned, getting people's hopes up and piquing their interest and such and then dashing it is very cruel.

This is super underwhelming. If it was an instant, it would be more on par with the rest of the cycle, IMO.
So for 2WWW in standard you can make 6 1/1s or 2 2/2s.

You cannot do this. The two abilities are linked, which means only the 'exiled cards' exiled by the first exiled ability.
RE: 'Linked Triggers' being un-fun: Yes, but it prevents the following horror story: Exile Panoptic Mirror and Mimic Vat with this card. Congratulations! You can now put a spell token into play.
I believe when they say "exiled with it". it counts every card getting exiled by Myr so making the two abilities seperate. Mimic Vat is a different story.
but maybe I'm wrong, maybe you're wrong. everything will be clear when the FAQ pops up.
LAME. It should say "cards imprinted on it" not "cards exiled with it".
Why even give it the Imprint keyword?
1. Play Myr Welder
2. Imprint Molten-tail Masticore on it.
3. use the imprinted Masticore's 1st ability while exiling creatures like Fauna shaman, Stoneforge Mystic etc etc.....
4. Now Myr Welder can not only use the imprinted artifact's ability, but also can fetch creatures/equipment etc etc......
while I quite understand why people complain about this card in today's environment, I think you need to think about what will happen after this October.
Zendikar block/M11 rotates out from standard.
no more Jace 2.0, no more Titans, everything will change since most of today's standard are focused on those sets. and since the most reliable - meaning it's been play tested - is Scars Block, the next standard environment will be most likely artifact based, which makes Tezzeret 2.0 very viable. even having the possibility to become the next Jace tMS.
when Jace 2.0 was first revealed, lot of people were skeptical about it saying "that's not a 20 dollar card". who knows?

for me, MBS looks like it has more staple cards than other small sets used to have, like Morningtide or Worldwake for example.
