This discussion is regarding the present and I've tried to only talk about now but the past does factor in. In the past the Gutter has targeted strong-minded persons who are outside their power structure and driven from MTGS. No one talks about it but most of the people who have been here from the beginning knows what I'm talking about. The Gutter of today is mostly the same people but they've grown wiser and thus their tactics have become more covert. They recruit the kinds of people they previously ragged on(transwomen and dwarfs for example) so they can say "See! We're not racist/sexist/biased in any way!" but its just a ploy to maintain legitimacy.

But really, you guys seem to hate this forum, and the staff. Why not just move your little club that "isn't really a big part of the forums" (that is a paraphrase but you get what i mean) to somewhere else? It's not like, in 2012, it's hard to be a member of two different forums.
I don't hate the staff. Before a lot of this odd interwebz drama I always liked ria. And we are not a little club, but yes we are a part of the forum and that is why we speak our minds when things happen. We deserve to be treated like the rest of the forums. I do not get what you mean, because frankly, unlike ria, I never liked anything you have had to say ever. But then again, I don't like most of the posters here so I guess my say doesn't matter.
There is no need for any non staff member to see the CoC. It is at best a simple device to keep the staff in line, and an easy way to fire them, so why bother analyzing it?
At this point, why bother with letting any non staff members get any information at all? This thread has shown a very slimy staff under belly, with all the FZ threads and pm talk, that I would just have everyone shut up. There is no sanctity here and that is bothersome.

Read through the thread and I'm surprised no one picked up on this from a votan post on pg 1.
In other words, votan is implying the Gutter has a greater influence over the MTGS community than the staff, which is completely outrageous.
RE: The Gutter Cyberbullying; Is it too much to ask for specific examples of this? If this is what The Gutter is being lynched for, I would hope that there would be recent examples of this behavior. If the staff wants to repress this behavior in The Gutter, why was this not posted about in the Gutter-to-Staff communication forum? If it had been posted in that forum, it could have been addressed there instead of clogging up the main forums about drama a large majority of the members/readers are either uninformed about or don't give a damn about.
Kijin has been a great part of this site, and his spot will never be filled. His knowledge of cards, trends, and formats made him great at this job in the market street. I have no interest in reading this thread, and I will not later, but I just want to say that this is no way to treat a great veteran member of the site. Rax and Kijin gone makes this place feel weird.
