Haven't played legacy in 3 years, but looking at this current meta Enchantress should be running extremely well. I may have to get the engines warmed up on this deck, its always been my absolute favorite. I saw we had 3 players take it into day 2(philly) which is fantastic. I was lucky enough to top 64 an SCG event 4 years ago with it, only to be knocked down by a mirror match (1-0 loss lol). So glad this deck is still relevant Smile Any newer cards added to the deck besides the basic shell? I've literally beeb playing only 93/94 so I've been quite out of touch.

I don't think anything from 1994-97 should ever be reprinted again, you need to have some older chase cards. And all these reprint sets should be white bordered to signify reprint. WotC sees' a cash grab, and look at the buzz.

Mark, I agree. I've noticed Dual lands in the last few hours have been drying up at the lower pay scales. Some cards will suffer, others may go up. The fact we have 3 languages being printed in my opinion will crush a card like Wasteland.

I have two bi-racial children and I don't see how he is a white supremacist? The man employees people of all backgrounds and races...
Well he just recently retweeted something from a guy named @WhiteGenocideTM

So, y'know, that would be an example.

But mostly it's the whole way he's publicly spoken about treating various ethnic groups and religions. Like, maybe when a guy starts talking about building walls to keep people out, or concentration camps, you start to maybe think about what he's saying before you vote for him?

And I live in New Jersey, this is the world capitol of the democratic party lol.
Please. I live in Connecticut. Christie would be a supreme improvement over Malloy.

Shouldn't we have a wall to keep people out of a border that is repeatedly crossed? Some countries shoot you on site for illegally crossing. I don't think a wall employs racism, it says you need to stay in your country.

If he wins the Republican primary I'll throw Trump a vote. Tired of the same old washed up politicians on the left and right. He clearly is of a different breed... I'm just a tired voter that actually wants to see a different style, this will be my 4th time voting for a president and will go out of my way to cast my vote this time(if Trumps the primary). If not, just going to sit this election out.

So just curious, the voice he gives to white supremacists and neo-nazi groups doesn't bother you at all?

If he wins the Republican primary I'll throw Trump a vote. Tired of the same old washed up politicians on the left and right. He clearly is of a different breed, has both failed and succeeded in the business world. So he has experience with handling diversity and obviously came out way ahead. And I live in New Jersey, this is the world capitol of the democratic party lol. Get some fresh blood in there, maybe he can convince some strong business world employees to assume cabinet positions instead of presidents just picking they're friends and buddies to fill those important roles. I remember Obama ran on hope and change, but honestly lets face it; hes been status quo and focus' on things I personally find to be the icing on the cake, instead of the batter which holds it all up. I'm just a tired voter that actually wants to see a different style, this will be my 4th time voting for a president and will go out of my way to cast my vote this time(if Trumps the primary). If not, just going to sit this election out.

Glad I sold a lot of my legacy cards over a year ago. Fetches were getting out of control, now you can pick them up for so cheap! One thing for sure, blue dual lands will continue to go up. I don't see a ceiling on them. Another thing I notice is Taiga and Badlands are still insanely low priced. I wonder when a day comes when the dealers just decide to jack those prices up lol

Been out of legacy for a couple years. Glad to see this deck is still relevant. Last I checked treasure cruise was the cool card but it appears they banned it not surprisingly lol. Looking at that last deck list, why use chain lightning over Gitaxion Probe? A lot of burn in that list. Maybe subtract a forked bolt for a Spell Snare? I see why no goyfs in posts further up, but that list looks a little burn heavy. Weird

Edit: Main deck of a Clique if you have one over ooze. Ooze is too green reliant, Clique can be dirty.

Wait till the end of the month, a lot of fetch lands will amazingly cheap. Dual lands will still hurt, but the fetches are back down to earth. Broaden your horizon because burn is terrible.

Quick question involving the UW version. I notice a lot of these decks run 22-24 lands, but none of these builds use a stifle/wasteland combo? Is there any specific reason why? I'm just seeing available slots for stifle and wasteland to fit.

I have played the UW version in a couple of tournaments, going without Mishra's Factory, with 3 Wastelands and 2-3 Dazes, and it's been ok. I might try the Factories next time. Stifle is straight-up bad in this deck though.

Good to hear from first hand trials. I really want to run Daze in this deck. The surprise factor of daze in a blade shell seems fun.

Here's my rough list i thought of
    22 Lands
    4 Flooded strand
    4 other blue fetch
    4 tundra
    4 wasteland
    1 academy ruins
    1 karakas
    2 islands
    2 plains

    11 creatures
    4 stoneforge mystic
    4 TNN
    2 snapcaster mage
    1 vendilion clique

    4 brainstorm
    4 force of will
    4 stifle
    4 swords to plowshares
    3 daze
    1 supreme verdict
    2 ponder
    2 spell snare

    batterskull
    jitte
    fire and ice

Has this been tried or am I just wasting my time? Appreciate any input.

This is definitely not true. RUG is not Stoneblade (and even that deck has some "bad" matchups, just not unwinnable). There are many decks that are highly favorable against RUG and some that just outright lock it out of the game (anything that aggressively attacks manabases).

I don't want to go too far off topic, but the list of decks that can waffle RUG are slim compared to most. Like posted below, oddity decks like POX, Lands, and DnT(recently DnT has some flavor) are favored against them. Not saying everything else is a easy win, but the deck is very resilient at any given time in most match ups. I agree, stoneblade gets face rolled by Jund or something similar. Every deck has its flops, but RUG IMO has the least. Plus RUG fits the OPs description to the T Wink
