Have you considered Faith of the Devoted, each wheel generates a lot of discard triggers from it which don't pay for until the wheel finishes resolving, meaning kydele can cover the cost easily.
It also works nice with skirge familiar as discarding to familiar triggers it and pays the cost for the trigger.

Welcome Back, Mindreaver in case you forgot I was triple voting town in twinborn, lynching me is what lost town the game.

Also It appears I'm always going to scum read you.

    @Cy

Am I going to have to skin a cat?

Well this has already turned into a fun little welcoming party, I try to help and get attacked for it. It's fine though I don't mind having to tear through a few people before being able to scumhunt. Grin

It's been said, but this post is worrysome. Honestly, who threatens a cat? Serial Murderers.

I'll say this about the environment here, not one of the people that is engaging you, is incapable of admitting they were wrong and changing their mind.

But you know the only thing that is going to change minds? If you scumhunted, instead of "tearing through" people. Maybe just a poor choice of words here, but if I was you I'd be less worried about TS/SC making you look scummy and more about catching scum.

    Why are you coaching here?

Pray tell, wasabi, what are my motivations? If you don't know what my motivations are, then I don't see how you can tell whether or not my words are clouding them. So please, enlighten me with your opinion.

@Sauce: Perception of my posts? You mean post that wasn't made, right? Because that is the only one I expressed any concern over when faced with the count question from Chris. Speaking of which, you're being awfully unfair charging me to ask when the person could have just stated why in the first place (I can say this because Chris showed no actual, super important reason that must be hidden when he stated his reason why later in conversation).

In short, you're being opportunistic with hitting me with that when Chris is at fault for not being upfront.

Yes Chris wasn't upfront with his reasoning but there's nothing inherently scummy about that. Reactions to post like that can be used to scumhunt and he was forthcoming with his reasoning when asked.
Your reasoning for not asking a simple why is weak, you didn't ask because you didn't want to be called out for fishing. It's too self aware, and that tends to come from a scum mindset. My vote stands.

Likely story. I can ask that question and get met with a fishing accusation. Also, if you had any reason beyond it being random, then you would do the townie thing and be forthcoming about it. Given your response to me, I have no better course of action than to assume exactly what I stated. That you, Sir Chris, are clearing someone randomly.

The least you could do is be honest as opposed to knee-jerking by pointing the finger at someone who called it like it was you scum you.

    vote: King of Dominaria

This shows an unusual mindset for town to have, caring about the perception of his posts. He avoids asking the question he wants as he fears the pressure of a fishing accusation. This feels like a scum mindset.

Sir Chris I can't help but read your posts in Alan Shaw's voice.

Looking to rebuild my deck, haven't played it since pod got banned. I don't get why a lot of people use engineered explosives as a one of in the sb.
What matchups does it help with and is it worth it as a one of?

Forbid's replacement effect always apply first as it's a self-replacement effect. You cannot choose to apply Agenda to exile forbid in this situation. May be relevant if mindslavered or etc.

I figured if we went to day 2 with no night kill, I claim, I knew GJ was the bomb, the masons self confirm and we would lynch who was left.

I don't really want to do the math anymore, I realized that probably leads to presenting the best play to scum.
I will say that I have done the math and that both plans give exactly a 50/50 shot of town winning if scum takes the right choice for each scenario, I don't want to detail what that is.
It surprises me how balanced this game is.

Either plan looks good to me.

I didn't consider the possibility of no kill option day 2, I just assumed scum would take the shot and work towards their win con.

In my plan we can no lynch twice and then lynch

No we can't, if scum doesn't hit the bomb in those two NK's. Then he has hit the vanilla and the masons. It's Bomb vs mafia day 3 which means mafia wins.

My method has two chances of the bomb triggering also, if the mafia kills the bomb the second night it'll leave the non-bomb townie that survived N1 (second mason or vanilla) as the sole survivor, i.e town wins.
    No lynching is simply worse.
You reduce the chance of the best case scenario to 1/4 for town. So the chance of scum surviving day 1 is 3/4

In the 3 vs 1 scenario (vanilla is NK), the masons confirm each other, the mafia and the bomb vote each other and it's up to the mason to choose between them in the it's still 50%/50% for town day 2. Going no lynch in this scenario is bad as the scum only has a 1/3 chance of hitting the bomb.

I covered the 50%/50% shot for the 2 vs 1 scenario already
50% / 50% is the best day 2 town can get.

So no lynching instead of lynching a mason results in a decreased chance of the mafia losing night 1 with no improvement for day 2, it's a bad plan.

But what Rhand was saying was that you no lynch a second time and the bomb could go off again.
It takes the power completely out of our hands and puts it in the scum's, basically they have to kill themselves or get "lucky" both nights.
Unless the first night they hit the masons, and then it is at the 2 vs 1 point.

I think I am more inclined towards Rhand's idea at this point.

@Vaimes: I think the way the scum wincon normally is drawn up would mean that scum wins in that scenario. But let's see what IsoMod says.

You can no lynch a second time in my plan also and then scum has a 50%/50% shot night 2 of hitting the bomb.
By not lynching a mason you simply increase the chance scum survives night 1 with no improvement day/night 2.

My only issue is in final three, if town mislynches and the last two players are scum and the Bomb, is that a tie? Or is it a scum win since they've technically reached parity?

Actually reconsidered this and scum must win in this scenario otherwise the only way they could win would be to generate a mislynch on the bomb.
