Finally, Rith's Charm provides a fairly unique effect (instant speed land destruction) alongside the ability to make chump blockers or protect yourself from shroud creatures, in a pinch. Better then you'd think.
100% agree. i ran both this and naya charm when i played naya tokens. loved them.
also, evolution charm is not bad at all in a monogreen build.
Teneb:
1. ramp a little, tutor for some stuff, kill some stuff
2. find some good draw/draw engine, replenish hand
3. drop some bombs, reanimate them
note: these phases are probably universal for MANY edh decks
i'm more of a fan of straight up land ramp over anything else. mana rocks/enchantments getting wrathed away in one turn is far too crippling. these Overgrowth type enchantments also make it harder to hold up mana during other people's turns, if that even matters too much in monoG.
mana doublers are a different story, and is highly recommended. you only have to cast one to go crazy, and they are highly threatening.
for ramp, i say run ATLEAST: Sakura-tribe Elder Yavimaya Elder (not ramp, but 3 cards for one) Cultivate Kodama's Reach Explosive Vegetation Skyshroud Claim Hunting Wilds Primeval Titan Vernal Bloom Mana Reflection
oh and sol ring, of course
as far as creatures, my list has pretty much evolved into 90% utility creatures. you really want that in mono green.
check out my list, or Slivortal's... who is usually all over any topic that has to do with mono green.
i hate not being able to untap it any other time but my upkeep. seriously, i like grim and basalt better, but even then i have a tough time running "every other turn" ramp then just straight up land ramp.
some decks want them for sure, though
how much is too much to be able to kill a creature every turn? I mean, Visara and Avatar of Woe do it for free (minus the cost to get them out), but are more vulnerable, as creatures. If you wanted a non-creature solution (that wasn't Legacy Weapon - not a five-color deck), what would it be?
probably depends on your list. i usually avoid 7cmc removal, but thats just me. my friends mono Black utilizes cards like these to be able to answer artifacts/enchantments, but his build is all about Cabal Coffers and mana doublers so.... yah. if your deck ramps like crazy, then by all means, run them, but i'd still rather power out an eldrazi or something if im going down that route.
I don't play Rakdos in mine, or Kaervek. It's relatively tame. I play several group-hug effects like Seizan, Perverter of Truth, and I've generally been against land destruction because I've no desire to restrict the ability of the players, because we're not playing for money or anything, we just want our spells to resolve, right?
WHAT YOU DONT PLAY RAKDOS?? just kidding :). i respect that. sorry about the accusation. i just assumed every single kaalia deck ran rakdos
I find myself in the situation a lot where I'm hammered because I could theoretically play something for free if my general makes it back to my turn and attacks, yet I have not seen anything degenerate enough to warrant it
sneaking in Rakdos the Defiler after attacks is quite degenerate (athough he proabably aint swinging again after that)
perhaps you could run more ways to cheat your fatties into play like Urza's Incubator or quicksilver amulet. i know you said they hate out your artifacts, but white has some pretty good enchantment/artifact recursion.
you are also in the best reanimation colors, so that could be something... athough getting the fatties out is probably the first step.
Odds are most people are already playing Asuza, Lost but Seeking, if you're not, add this card now in place of Prime
only if u are already running oracle of mul daya
and the white/green dude is knight of the reliquary. --> EDIT: ninjaed. twice. i knew i would have to be fast
i have to agree that sun titan is a great replacement, but i would imagine most decks that have white in them are already running him. seriously, even just getting fetches back every turn is good enough, i mean, he's a 6/6 vigilance as it is.
just kidding. i dont know what the best recursion engine is, but my favorite enabler is Sun Titan. so good with so many things like angelic renewal, Animate Dead, Stripmine, Saffi Eriksdotter, Aura of Silence, Necrotic Sliver, etc etc...
Thicket Elemental
Gamekeeper
Summoning trap
and when they die:
Nim DeathMantle
Mimic Vat
Reincarnation
Citanul Flute
Eye of Ugin (assuming youll be running eldrazi)
Decree of Justice
Strength of the Tajuru
there also various token producers with good mana sinks, but not sure what ur going for:
Ant Queen
Verdeloth the Ancient
Wolfbriar Elemental (green only)
Sacred Mesa
nemata, grove guardian
thats all i can think of so far (:
EDIT: I would also highly recommend Army of the Damned and Increasing Ambition, which are simply awesome with big mana
100% agree. i ran both this and naya charm when i played naya tokens. loved them.

Crosis's Charm is worth noting, and on par with Grixis Charm
is it the obvious one?

2. find some good draw/draw engine, replenish hand
3. drop some bombs, reanimate them

Sorin, Lord of Innistrad
Bitterblossom
Lingering Souls
Army of the Damned
Grave Titan
Mind Slash
...and all the tutors, card draw, removal, etc
i've tried rith, and there were some good cards in red, like Sunforger, Titanic Ultimatum, Glory of Warfare, Kher Keep, Shared Animosity, Naya Charm...
but card for card, Ghave is waaaayyy better than Rith, and black is such an awesome color
only if u are already running oracle of mul daya
and the white/green dude is knight of the reliquary. --> EDIT: ninjaed. twice. i knew i would have to be fast
