Oct 21, 2014ShiroeTheEnchanter posted a message on Off Topic: Analyzing AurasI'm seeing this stuff right before each TCG decklist. It's basically some kind of JSON data representing the actual decklist which follows.Posted in: Articles
I checked in Firefox and Chrome, and I see this in both. If you're not seeing it, it may be restricted to my machine.

The only way that I can see the "choose creature or removal" philosophy will work right now is in limited and post-M15 Standard. Eternal formats like Vintage, Legacy, and Modern are stuck in a rut, because their total card pool includes cheap removal.
I think the best way to realize your vision (and Wizards) is to create a new eternal format and re-baseline it at M15/Theros going forward (or M15/RTR). That way, most cheap removal is gone, and there is design space for better Auras (your desire) and more balanced removal (Wizards's desire). However, that could result in a customer revolt from long-time Modern players. - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.
Once the clone enters the battlefield, and I then announce what the clone is copying (i.e. I don't announce what I'm copying while the clone spell is on the stack), can opponents eliminate what I am copying to stop the copy effect?
Common clone cards:
Clone
Spark Double
Sakashima the Impostor
Sakashima of a Thousand Faces
If I cast Archon of Sun's Grace, and it enters the battlefield, does it see itself and trigger?
I know casting these two cards in the opposite order works, but I'm not sure about this order.
Thalia rescued him in SOI, and then he was depressed that everything he believed in and devoted his life for was turned upside down. It looks like he got out of that funk.

Of that list, Cryptic Command, Blood Moon, Thoughtseize are popular tournament picks. Blood Moon would be especially flavorful in Innistrad.
TCGPlayer has an article about the history of the Reserved List and the last time Wizards was close to abolishing it.

However, it is breaking parity with the paper game. Unless Wizards completely shuts down paper, these new designs can only break the Arena Historic environment. However, since the data is all computerized, they can patch the cards, like other digital card games.
However, if they patch a card that has a paper equivalent, I really want an Oracle errata for the paper version.
I'm also surprised this is typed as a Noble instead of a Wizard/Spellshaper/Warlock/Shaman/Cleric based on flavor.
If so, if Beth somehow granted trample to her creature before normal combat damage is dealt, would 4 damage be deal to Carl the during normal combat damage step?
Specifically, the new card Holy Avenger reads:
"Equipped creature has double strike.
Whenever equipped creature deals combat damage, you may put an Aura card from your hand onto the battlefield attached to it."
So, after first strike damage, its triggered ability happens, and if Beth puts Rancor on her creature, will her creature deal 4 damage to Carl during the normal combat step?
Player Carl has a 4/4 creature that can block Beth's creature
Combat starts and Beth attacks with her creature. Carl blocks with his creature.
First strike damage is dealt. Carl's creature dies without dealing damage back.
Normal combat damage step: Does Beth's creature deal damage to Carl now, or does Beth need a trample effect on her creature to do that? I ask, because I think you can do instant-speed combat effects between first strike combat damage and normal combat damage.
Smothering Tithe is not quite as obnoxious as it doesn't stop opponents from drawing extra cards. Smothering Tithe helps with mana ramping.
Alms Collector exists, but I haven't heard it universally hated.
