Yeah. I guess I just assumed there was no way a replacement would be found in 24 hours. Seemed silly to even try, like you said, and probably would have ended in a mod kill.
I had a replacement lined up, but didn't want to have someone replace in to immediately be lynched. TS's game loss was because of the extreme levels of toxicity his posts injected into the game; the infractions leading to that suspension were entirely for posts in this game. Repeatedly violating site rules is not how you win a game, and he should not be rewarded for that, regardless of how his alignment does at the end of the game.
Day breaks yet again on Deep Space Nine, and the population assembles on the Promenade to see who's still here. After the holographic security guards take roll call, it's apparent that Mindreaver is nowhere to be seen. He can't be found anywhere on the station, but a hologuard points out something floating outside the station that wasn't there before. Someone calls up to Ops to have a shuttle sent out, but the captain can't be found. The shuttle is sent out anyway, and finds Mindreaver's body floating in space, with no indication of how he got there.
Mindreaver, Ro Laren, Town Charmed Captain has been killed. It is now Day 3. 14 alive, 8 to lynch.
It is now 2 AM on the station, and everyone's sleeping. In Necarg's quarters, a loud flash of light is seen and a bang is heard. When the light dissipates, Necarg is gone, and Zinger2099 has arrived. Seeing nothing wrong, Zinger goes to sleep.
Effective immediately, Zinger2099 replaces Necarg. It is still night, action deadline is the same.

I'd almost rather just lynch him now, then we won't have to worry about it. I estimate the chances of Necarg appearing to add something relevant in the next ~24 hours at approximately 0, between his lack of being present and his behavior while he was here.

I don't have time to do a votecount and write a lynch scene until I'm off work tonight. I believe we're there, but unless Teia has time to do a votecount, we're probably five or six hours away from me being able to take care of it.
