So, I am trying to build a Commander deck featuring Grand Arbiter Augustin IV and I was wondering what some of the best "Tax" style lands are. I am not in the market for a Tabernacle, so that along with things like Library of Alexandria are, unfortunately out of the question.
Some objects don't have mana costs, but all objects have a converted mana cost. An object without a mana cost has a converted mana cost of 0, like Evermind. If you cascade into it, you can cast it for an alternative cost ("without paying its mana cost"), which allows you to bypass the fact, that it can't be cast for its mana cost.
Do cards like Clever Impersonator and Clone copy the names of cards that they are becoming copies of? Or do they still remain named Clone and Clever Impersonator?
If Reality Acid is enchanted to a forest and my opponent goes to Harrow, then I Venser to bounce Reality Acid, the Forest gets sacrificed, but what happens to Harrow?
So say I have a single copy of Goblin Electromancer on the battlefield, then I play Epic Experiment with 0 into the X cost, does Epic Experiment do nothing or does X now = 1 because of the reduction from Electromancer?
Can I please get the preview of the Simic Guild Leader already? I am really anxious to see if she is better than Momir Vig was. Although I imagine Simic will get the shaft, just like last time
So, I have been playing Magic since the original Ravnica set released. So I have seen alot of Standard meta changes. When Shards of Alara released Jund was a very dominant deck. With cards such as Abrupt Decay, Dreadbore, and Lotleth Troll in combination with cards like Gravecrawler, Bonfire of the Damned, and Huntmaster of the Fells does anyone else besides me see Jund becoming a dominant deck again?
Alright, so here is my scenario. On my board I control a Sovereigns of Lost Alara and I enter my Declare Attackers step. I declare that Sovereigns is the only attacker. My opponent goes to block with a creature on the ground, but I tell him that I am able to attach an Aura with the trigger off my Sovereigns before Blockers can be declared. Am I correct in this or does the trigger come after the declare blockers step
If I play Tooth and Nail with the Entwine cost and fetch up Eternal Witness as one of the creatures, can I recur Tooth and Nail or does Tooth not hit the Graveyard until after Witness hits board
