I have Azami (Wizard), Krenko (Goblin), Ezuri (Elf), Teysa v1 (Cleric), Olivia Voldaren (Vampire), Karador (Spirit), Karrthus (Dragon), Karona (Ally), Horde of Notions (Elemental). I could make an argument for Sliver Queen (Planeswalker), but nah...
I think going tribal is one of the easiest restrictions to start with, for those who has been/are sick of building mono-good stuff decks.
On the other hand, if you find tracking storm counts too troublesome, or if you just want to play spells off the top for fun and laughter (and profit), allow me to promote my list
That said, I'm pretty sure that between their storm lists and my list, there's a lot of overlap which should tell you what the "staples" are. You don't have to use them, but it's worth considering
Well I must admit that I pretty much share my list whenever I see someone asking about how to build a deck around around a certain card.
That said, when I do post a link to my list, it's more a case of "there's too many cards that would play well with X, so here's what I have, if you need a bucket list" rather than "my list is the best, the one and only, and playing anything else makes you a n00b."
If I were making a landfall deck I'd probably go GUB simply because Ob Nixilis, the Fallen would be such a beastly win-con after dropping a Boundless Realms
Damia, Sage of Stone would make a good commander for it too, keep your hand full to ensure land drops.
I have a Damia deck that pretty much goes all-in on the lands. Not sure if it's of any help to you, but you can check it out here
Others come with enough of a drawback to stop me from putting them in on the first round.
2. From here, I want to expand the sea creature theme to other creatures. Whales are a shoo-in, but I identified only Colossal Whale and Great Whale as worthy additions.
I'm thinking what other creature types I can look at, besides Fish (which brings up Fish, Jellyfish, Starfish) and Crab.
3. Cards with a thematic link to the sea are welcome too. "Tide" (e.g. High Tide) and "sea" (e.g. Spreading Seas) are obvious search terms, but what others are there?
4. The lowest priority will obviously be the good stuff - think cards like Caged Sun, Sol Ring, etc.
My Zedruu deck runs with Enduring Ideal as the centerpiece too. One of my fun plans revolve around Form of the Dragon and Second Chance, with Mistveil Plains enabling infinite turn shenanigans.
Guys, isn't it obvious at this point that the someone who blatantly harps on the same point, despite everyone telling him that he's missing the point, is just trying to seek attention in his own right? We know the story, he says his stuff, we pass our judgment, let's stop feeding this troll we have here, period.

Most of the Spirits in WBG comes from Kamigawa, so I've got a minor legendary theme as well.
That, or a deck that gains life like nobody's business, like an Oloro deck based around the extort mechanism.
That said, I'm more or less set on having Oloro, Ageless Ascetic take over as General Extortionist...just like everyone here has suggested.

My train of thought so far:
1. Quest for Ula's Temple, which leads to the inclusion of:

Suggestions are most welcome, thank you!

It's Kaboom! more in spirit than in execution because I'm aiming to create top-deck excitement, not just to resolve a gigantic Kaboom!
