Make sure that the bypass proxy script is unchecked as well as use proxy server. even though it is greyed out the effect is still there. If not Try to run a repair now that the application launches, Or launch normally and see if it updates. If not then try a reinstall once more.
The unchecking of use proxy server for my lan seems to have worked for me. Once I started it I ran a repair and it re-downloaded MTG. It is now working. TG. And thank you cillycell.
It seems this most recent update for Feb, 2010 has done the same thing to multiple users. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the application several times and still get the same errors. the kicker will not launch and also the renamer. I installed the same version to computer 2 (or my other computer) and it updated fine. If I copy all the files it installed to my computer 2 to the machine that didn't work I can launch the app but I still cannot use the kicker or the renamer. Can we find a resolve for this? Or can you post a link that will install the latest version of Magic version 3.0.47.116 without having it update?
