Quote from AnImAr_ »So the miner protects itself. Reminds me of Frost Walker.
And triggers every single revolt without spending mana
Quote from Daracaex »If you think of each 4-color combo as an "arc," the ally legend is the center of that arc and the two enemy legends are the ends of it.
Also, all of these were created with mechanics only at first and assigned characters later, meaning they aren't perfect representations. Don't worry too much. We might get another Ludvic when we go back to Innistrad again.
Quote from Creedmoor »I am not sure what it does... Does it have a caller of the claw ability or a "whenever a creature dies, you may pay (<>).."
Can someone post the legitimate translation?
Quote from thememan »Hrm. Wouldn't Malignant Redeemer work for the name? Seems to sound better in English.
Quote from Figurative »What do you guys see about having the Titan cycle reprinted in MM2? Seems like it could happen for sure, Prime Time sees a lot of play and a couple of the other ones see fringe play. In edition they are from M11, making then from the era they're highlighting and they fill up the mythic slot.
Quote from Wildfire393 »The sources wishes to remain anonymous, but he is a reliable one. This is the same source that provided the rumor about the handful of reprints in KTK.
Quote from The_Return_of_Skullfer »I'm hi-jacking this post with information - Wildfire393
The following information is known about the pre-release packs:
-Each seeded pack will only have one rare/mythic card in it, the pre-release foil.
-The prerelease foil will not have alternate art, but it will be stamped with the pre-release date
-The cards that show up as a pre-release promo are not necessarily restricted to the cards watermarked for that clan. Utter End, for instance, can show up in one of the packs. More information will be added here when it is received.

I agree. As a limited-only player, I just don't see much good here. But since we are still waiting for the important part of the set for limited, I will hold off. But so far, I don't see why people think outlast is good. The sorcery speed kills it.
Quote from Seba169 »So, everyone but WBG gets a mythic, BGU even two, and this is the only kind of cards with their clan mechanic that Abzan could hope to get? Great job. Looks like someone at wizards relized how dumb they were making it cause they couldn't create even a medicore mythic with outlast. Though they could easily repair what they messed in this mechanic, creating a low-CMC mythic that would let you activate outlast any time you can cast an instant.
Quote from stonecrowe »Quote from GustavBDK »He is two mana away from dodging:
- anger of the gods
- drown in sorrows
- Cone of flame
- Bile blight
- Lightning strike
- Hero's downfall
- magma jet
- magma spray
- End hostilities
- Mardu charm
Note how many of the cards above that cost more than two mana...
Meaning that presently the only removal he cannot deal wtih is.
He cannot dodge End Hostilities, and would need to use 4 mana to dodge Mardu Charm.
That said, I like him allot. The only reason I am upset that he is Rare is that I cant Peasant Cube him.
EDIT: He is better than Putrid Leech people, the Leech can only max out at 4/4 on it's own merit, but there is no limitations on buffing this to 6/6 or 8/8.
Quote from Neviskio »Quote from Karham »Which roughly translates into:
Creature - Naga Wizard
When Kheru Spellthief is turned face up, counter target spell. If that spell is countered this way, exile it instead of putting it into its owner's graveyad. You may cast that card without paying its mana cost as long as it remains exiled.
Not sure if it's needed but can confirm this translation since I'm italian too( guess karham is) so that's what it does =P
Quote from Prai on »
you may activate one of its loyalty abilities
You may activate the ability while the chain veil's ability is on the stack.
Quote from gaeacradleWow. The Prerelease promos all have really nice art, except for the Green one.
Quote from TexevenMostly it is a good and solid Sideboard with the exception of Hide//Seek and Leave no Trace. Maybe if you could explain why you put them in, I can give you a better opinion than this:
The only Enchantment a Burn player can possibly care about is the Leyline of Craptity . As I said earlier it is always hard to board proper enchantment hate (which should be either Ronom Unicorn or others or War Priest of Thune) against a feared Leyline.
The major Problem with this is the guessing game: you have to know if your opponent runs the Leyline and if he boards it (not always the case), making you sacrifice valuable Burn slots and making your deck overall slower.
Quote from wadprimeIt wasn't scowling, it was wishful thinking, lol.

Quote from endblinkConsidering Lightning Helix is undercosted by 1, I'm totally fine with Warcaller's Helix. Hell, I was happy with Firemane Avenger.
If Emmara is real, though, I will be very, very disappointed. I was really hoping she was going to have the original populate ability upon entering the battlefield. I think that would have been much more fun and flavourful.
Quote from Realize@Karham: Where have you seen ghost quarter? As far as i know only eggs plays it. They destroy us with 4x leyline anyway, so my current sideboard plan against them is to wait for eggs to get banned... Hmm. Splinter twin might play it, but I haven't seen that lately either. As far as grim vs drs, in my mind it isnt close. You can always always always activate drs. You usually want to dome them with grim anyways, and one of the resons our mana still works vs. blood moon or GQ is because of drs' gy ability.
