can i get some further clarification on how this actually works
so the blink is resolving
activated ability of term is triggered. (However is not put on the stack yet?)
creature comes into play and blink is finished resolving
--- do players put triggered abilities on the stack now? or is SBA checked before ----
players get a chance to respond to the ability(s)
--SBA is checked--
continue resolving stack.
is the above correct? does SBA get checked before players place their triggered abilities on the stack?
You are correct that SBAs aren't checked during a spell or ability's resolution, but there is another factor here. Prison Term will trigger during the resolution of Momentary Blink but the trigger won't go on the stack until the Blink finishes resolving. At that point the Prison Term is on the battlefield unattached and will be cleaned up by SBAs before any player receives priority. The Prison Term trigger won't do anything upon Resolution since it is no longer on the battlefield.
yeah you are right; thanks for the answer i think this is correct
Wouldn't Prison Term go to the graveyard in the interim? There are no stack issues, so Momentary Blink resolves, the creature leaves the game, Prison Term goes to the graveyard, and when the creature returns, there is no Prison Term to enchant it with.
Basically, it has to be currently enchanting a creature during another creature's ETB to transfer to that new creature.
pretty sure the creature returns before term is in the yard
will Prison Term be able to attach to the creature coming in?
reasoning: state-based aren't being checked during the resolution of the blink, however i guess before/after the triggered ability of term is put on the stack it will disappear? can someone clarify?
no, once he wants to activate Disk's ability, tapping it is part of the cost (before the colon), and you would not be able to stop him from putting the ability on the stack. Even if you choose to tap him disk on his upkeep, he can activate it in response.
2. Similar to #1, However you can tap his elf on his upkeep, and his mana will empty if he chooses to move to his main phase.
3. After every instance you choose to pump your hellhound, he has a chance to doomblade it.
Mimic vat: exiles the card the went to the graveyard
1) if you exiled his mountain, vat put a token of a mountain into play (not a 4/4, as koth was the one that turned it into a 4/4)
2) similar to the mountain, u get a collonade (which comes into play tapped btw)
3) u get the artefact
4) u dont get any charge counters on the chimeric mass (0/0 if u animate)
B)
1) Again, no charge counters on the mass
2) U may not kick the chalice, as u can only kick it when casting it as a spell. returning it with sun titan is not casting it.
btw i just got owned by an eruption, first time it fizzled with a land, and 2nd time he got my true conviction, with true conviction and no creatures, i promtly lost :S most of my deck is lowdrops )= also 6 to the face hurts.
not saying eruption is good, in fact i think its pretty bad, but if u have good luck, u never know.
for one, he had a stack on the left side, and also, he could right click the steps of the turn and choose to set/unset a stop on the fly??
how do i do this?
Thanks
i ended up going bant colours, but ended up losing every round = =

bouncing the exo will also cause him to sac the creature
shroud granted by your angel affects the artefacts when they are permanents on your battlefield, they do not affect spells on the stack
