I think a good movie would be the entire Weatherlight Saga. Even if it was about some of the newer characters it wouldn't be to horrible as long as they cared enough to make the script good and get good special effects and actors.
I went 5-1 (out of around 50 people) with R/W aggro splashing black for Stromkirk Captain. All of my red creatures were Vampires except for a Hellrider so the captain was really good when I drew him. I also got a Mentor of the Meek which triggered on almost every creature I had, except for the Hellrider and a Galvanic Juggernaut. Burning Oil was definitely one of the best cards I had in my deck, It was clutch against other combat tricks to blow them out. I lost to my friend playing a B/W tokens deck and had a close game one and lost game two by playing only 6 spells over 10ish turns.
OP I would suggest never saying good game after you win, unless it was an actual good game. Especially if he had mana problems or he had some bad beats. From the sounds of it he was probably on tilt from loosing and you saying good game after winning just exasperated the situation.
I love how I've been hearing the monoblack thing since Tendrils got reprinted in M10 and every time a decent black card gets spoiled (Ob Nixilis, Sorin 1.0, Nighthawk, Abyssal Persecutor, Consume the Meek, Consuming Vapors, Grave Titan, Massacre Wurm,Nantuko Shade), yet it never happens.
Mono-black Vampires wasn't that bad of a deck when Zendikar first came out.
The cage does not prevent the effects of Birthing Pod or similar mechanics which pull cards out of your library. It stops you from casting them by effects such as Djinn of Wishes.
Thank you.
I love Sorin, but it's a deal breaker to me because Sorin gets completely wrecked by a Geist of Saint Traft without doing anything crazy, or basically anything with Sword of Feast and Famine equipped to it.
That would just be a horrible play to run Sorin out all willy nilly when they have a Giest or Sword out instead of dealing with it. Also Sorin isn't the only card in the deck, so them attacking with their Geist into Mirran Crusader or anything with two power wouldn't make a good play.
Can someone please tell me sharpshooter is good against....
also I run B/R goblins and advocate for now ports. its mtachup dependent but thats my opinion
Sharpshooter was really good against combo elves back when that was a real deck. It's also good in match-ups where you need reach and a lot of trading/dying is going on.
In all honesty, he is OK. Primarily because of the poor poisition he is at with 3 starting loyalty and the fact that tokens arent a strong archetype.
Really? That's the deal breaker, three loyalty? The first good planeswalker started with only three loyalty, and the best planeswalker yet also only starts with three loyalty.
Yea Im trying to like Sorin but... Elspeth is just beter and to be fair I think she is the best plaeswalker next to Jace TMS. She is good in almost any board postion and can greatly increase a clock, that extra loyalty makes all the difference. Hes not to far behind and probably beter in BW tokens. Goth Garruk is probably more powerful in a vacum as well and isn't seing modern play. The persistent 2 drops are more likely to make a splash.
Sorin does have one thing over Elspeth and that is not having the planeswalker type Elspeth. He seems like he could do good things in a deck as the 'extra' two Elspeth's.
After the sealed I got 13 prize packs. The most valuable cards I got were a Huntmaster of the Fells and a foil Faithless Looting.

Only if your fetching up Dryad Arbors.
Yes it does. Read the card.
Nope, your casting the cards from exile with Cascade. The cage is a big middle finger to a lot of decks.
That was my first thought as well.
Someone can't understand sarcasm over the Internet.
