The commander sets are rather looser with the color pie, and Maro has not missed an opportunity to yell about Chaos Warp or Song of the Dyrads. I'd say we're about Maro strictness on color pie, which is in fact more conservative than actual print.
Which, for example, enables them to freely make cards that intentionally Appeal to only one psychographic.

I do feel the Appeal category captures this poorly. A card that really really appeals to only one psychographic is better than a card that two-three psychographics like but aren't wild about, imo. Maybe we should award two points for "This psychographic just loves this card"?

I agree with this 100% At GDC 2016 Mark Rosewater had a panel Magic: the Gathering: Twenty Years, Twenty Lessons Learned and there he has a section on the psychographic, the jest is that if you try to appeal to all, most of the time you satisfy none.

The talk on the psychographic is at about 44 mins in if anyone wants to watch it.

I was really hoping we could get Necarg's scores as well, but it has been forever now, so lets go with the three judges scores. That makes bravelion83 the winner of the April round!!

Sorry for the long wait, as mentioned in the above posts, I should have just closed it and called it on the scores we had available, my apologizes for that. But now the round is officially closed and we have a winner!

We will go with the scores from three judges and not four since one is MIA.

    The_Hittite (20.5 + 23 + 21) = 64.5
    bravelion83 (22 + 22.5 + 23) = 67.5
    Vertain (17.5 + 20.5 + 22.5) = 60.5
    Tesco(black)lotus (19.5 + 19.5 + 22) = 61

This makes bravelion83 the winner for April!!

    Design - 6
(3/3) Appeal: Timmy likes all the abilities, Johnny might get this to work. Spike loves the power this card brings to the table.
(3/3) Elegance: Makes sense at first glance.

    Development - 3
(3/3) Viability: This is definitely a mythic, and black can fit here, but will talk more under flavor.
(0/3) Balance: This is way to powerful. Massive stats for only 4 mana, even if it is black heavy. Then afterwards it curves up perfectly to cast it from your graveyard, the cost to reanimate this pales in comparison to what it brings to the board, and then on top of that it can be reanimated indefinatly untill it gets exiled.

    Creativity - 5
(3/3) Uniqueness: Standard "Akroma" ish card, but with a pretty unique way of working as a card.
(2/3) Flavor: I feel that it should use more black orientated keywords. The reanimate feels black, but would have liked another think that make it black Akroma, and not just an Akroma that is black.

    Polish - 7
(3/3) Quality: I see no problems here.
    (2/2) Main Challenge: Met.
    (2/2) Subchallenges: Met and Met.

    Total: 21/25

    Design - 5
(2/3) Appeal: Timmy likes big flyer. Spike can use this, he likes the protection choices and value. Johnny don't like to much.
(3/3) Elegance: Makes sense at first glance.

    Development - 5
(3/3) Viability: I can see this as a Mythic and blue fits well on this card.
(2/3) Balance: I like how the kicker turns this into a normal "Akroma" card, 8 mana 6/6. But I think that drawing two cards might be to much, maybe just 1. Besides that I feel it balances it self out well. All that for 6 mana is allot, but the "illusion" effect fixes that.

    Creativity - 6
(3/3) Uniqueness: Also a standard "Akroma" card, but with a nice twist on it, especially with the kicker counter deal.
(3/3) Flavor: This really does feel like a time shifted blue Akroma.

    Polish - 7
(3/3) Quality: I see no problems here.
    (2/2) Main Challenge: Met.
    (2/2) Subchallenges: Met and Met.

    Total: 23/25

    Design - 4
(2/3) Appeal: Timmy likes to pull stuff from his library. Johnny can find a way to make this OP. It is to expensive for spike.
(2/3) Elegance: Allot of word clusters.

    Development - 6
(3/3) Viability: I feel here that maybe you should have added own and control Maybe you did go for the effect that you can snag cards back, so lets put this under elegance. Red feels fine here and I can see this as mythic, having such a complex effect.
(3/3) Balance: I think this is well balanced, it provides no clear benefit to either player. It has a weak body for it's cost so all that leaves you is how you build your deck to synergies with this.

    Creativity - 5
(2/3) Uniqueness: It is a nice use of Chaos Warp effect, but it is just a Chaos Warp cast each upkeep for each player.
(3/3) Flavor: I do like the tag added to the name: Braides, Chaos Warper. Its pretty funny and cool.

    Polish - 7
(3/3) Quality: I think that there might be a better way to word it, so that it is not as clustered as it is now, but points deducted in elegance.
    (2/2) Main Challenge: Met.
    (2/2) Subchallenges: Met and Met.

    Total: 22/25

    Design - 5
(2/3) Appeal: Timmy does not like the double blade effect. Spike can use this in a controll deck. Johnny can find a use for this.
(2/3) Elegance: I think that new players might get confused here. It would fit better if it was worded "tap up to three" If it is meant to only tap if there are at least 3 viable targets, it can still confuse players.

    Development - 4.5
(3/3) Viability: For some reason I personally think rare would fit her better, but I can also see her as mythic. White fits here to me.
(1.5/3) Balance: This has a powerful effect going for it. Lock-down by tapping stuff out can be a big thing. Even tho there is a double sided sword effect, you can minimize it to your self and really do one over on your opponents.

    Creativity - 6
(3/3) Uniqueness: The double sided effect feels fresh here in the way the tapping works.
(3/3) Flavor: I love the flavor here. I can see this as a white incarnation of Braids.

    Polish - 7
(3/3) Quality: I see no problems here.
    (2/2) Main Challenge: Met.
    (2/2) Subchallenges: Met and Met.

    Total: 22.5/25
