I liked Grim lavamancer and when I ran him I ran 4x evolving wilds. He just seemed slow for my build. he gave me some more reach late game. I got Huntsmaster's and I decided to cut him.
I kinda wanna try Stromkirk Noble. I feel like he would go in Champion of the parish's spot. I dunno who is stronger, but in theory I think Champion has the slight edge.
I love mainboard Thalia in my build. She has been nothing but awesome for me. I also like my Beserker count. I had 4 at one point and none at another. he is just very efficient beater that is hard to pass up. I do however dislike turn one Champion and having zerker as your turn two play.
As for my sideboard I bring Manabarbs in against the ramp decks this deck has trouble with. I may bring the count up to four (cutting an O-Ring)
Game 1 I play around wrath effects greatly maiing him 1 for 1 on zenith's and days. I get playing Splicer's/ Huntmaster and grinding him out. He ends up doing about 8 damage to himself due to his own dismembers. He cast two and snapcasted 2. I see 2 Black Sun's, a DoJ, Dismember's and Snapcaster's and no control magic.
IN: O-RING, FAITH'S SHIELD
Game 2 I don't have an explosive hand after a mull down to 6. he eventually lands a venser and a stonehorn dignitary and tries to lock me out. I hit the Venser with O ring eventually, but he hits a sun titan after a DoJ and gets there.
NO CHANGES
Game 3 on the Play I Go champion, Thalia, Mirran crusader. he has no white by his third land drop. I untap and swing with faith's shield in hand, he alchemy's and get's a black sun (he showed me after) he draws his forth land, darkslick shores and concedes.
Match 2
vs Mono Green Aggro (Splashing white for township and Angelic destiny)
Game 1 she plays and starts with birds of paradise. I start with Pilgrim. She plays a two drop and leaves bird up. i arc trail and play a newly drawn Champion of the Parish. The games goes on with me playing humans and her ramping playing stragleroot geist. She only had one blocker most the time and I played a bloodthirsted Stormblood. she is at 7 with a primeval titan on board and shes dead on board she play Genesis wave for five and this happens:
Ouch. We sit ideal board start as i chump with tokens and such. get a huntmaster shoot her for 2 to get her to five. Play Mirran crusader, she plays a Wall of Tanglecord. im down to my last draw looking for a volley. I draw and get a Hero of oxid ridge! Yes, but wait I only have one red source :(. gg

Both games go similar to last round, both games see turn two thalia. one game Huntmaster wins it, the other a mayor wins it. Sorry this isnt more broken down, but the Thalia really seemed to hurt him and he played Geist of St Traft both games, but Thalia didnt care.

Game 1 get ground out by DoJ's, Ratchet bombs, and a Sun Titan. game goes about 30 turns or something he plays Forbidden alchemy's and Think twices and sculps his hand to finish me off with sun titan and snapcaster beats.

Game 2 beat down with champion, Mayor Mirran hero of Oxid Ridge. His hand was lackluster, but he said he was surprised how aggro I was and changed his board plan. I see Talismon and more ratchet bombs.

Game 3 curve out well like game two but don't see second red source for either hero of oxid ridge in my hand. Second red source I win the game. He white sun's for 6 and I concede.

-I need to edit my mana base. I cut Skinshifter's for Huntmaster's before the tourney so my green is as prominent. I'm thinking -1 plains, -1 forest, +2 Mountain. Maybe win those 2 loses with that.
- Deck crushed geist/ spirit decks easily which was very nice.
Cards that were excellent: Mayor, Huntmaster, Mirran, and Oxid ridge (when he landed)
Cards that I may change or evaluate: Gather the townfolk (becoming two more brimstone volley's I think) and Champion of the Parish. CoP is ridiculously explosive turn one, but was lackluster after a sweeper.

I did the 15 deck archtype swap last week at fnm. Started out as standard dredge with splinterfright, boneyards, etc. could board in 10 counterspells, invisible stalkers and runechanters pikes for the dudes. it wasn't the best but it was quite fun.

Maybe mono white control with Gideon, Maybe a pod target. Maybe Turbofog (if the decks gets a mine effect in DA)
-Ezuri's Brigade
I've tried to make this card do something and i cant seem to. Makes you play bad artifacts. that being said I kinda want there to be a Green aggro deck

Ive seen this card work a couple times. It is probably to slow to be effective ion the new metagame though. It has a powerful and advantageous ability however
I liked 2. Same theory as devastating summons. If I see it, I see it and if I dont I probably wont. Its a mediocre to bad topdeck that I don't wanna see almost every game.
This is the deck Im building towards. I played a more budget version at FNM since I literally just threw it together since i needed an extra deck. I went 3-2 with my bad list, but i got the general feel of the deck and now i'm hooked like its crack.
I really liked Quest for Pure flame. In my janky list is won me about 4-5 games. Turn one rebirth. turn two this and guide/bolt/blast was sick for me all night and the ability helped me seal games.
I havent played with instigator, but I like his double strike.
I think the most questionable card in my main is G Blast. Maybe change it to x amount of forked bolts/ arc trails and such.
I think brave the elements, emerged unscathed (and any other instants) get better with Stoneforge Mystic. Her ability lets you be able to sit back and wait to see what are opponent does and gives you the ability put equipment in at instant speed. Brass Squire seems decent also with darksteel plate and protections on swords.
But if your going all in aggro I would roll with cards like outfitter, Honor of the Pure, and more aggresively costed fliers.
A lot of the ideas on this arctype depend on your theory of how you wanna win. If you wanna hit hard id roll out with Machetes, Axes, and Scythes. slower more protecting, plates, swords, and Arg Armor.

Possibly using a Stoneforge mystic package with Livewire lash? Lash targets being emerged unscathed and mighty leap.
Clasp is good if your running venser and the proliferate could be decent with allies. Just a suggestion, dont know if its all that great though.
