I find it interesting that most people seem to think that using the checklist card is less desirable than using opaque sleeves.
Personally, I always use Dragon Shield sleeves (not the clear ones) and I'm going to be using the checklist anyway so I don't have to constantly unsleeve/resleeve or keep it outside the sleeve.
Problem with the werewolves: they are only werewovles when aggro decks want them to be if your *opponent* doesn't cast any spells (or doesn't cast two or more spells, depending on if you played any during your last turn). Either way it's dependent on how many spells your opponent casts, not how many you cast. :/
No, it makes them complicated to pick cards in, you'll have to decide if you want the good transform card and expose your pick to others, or pick normal limited fodder. Impossible would be if the cards made every pack they were in ignite after the first pick, even then I'd reword it to unlikely over impossible.
I laughed for 2 minutes straight imagining this.
Thank you sir. *tips hat*
It'll be more than a P/T change, because they wouldn't leave you with a 13/13 defender.
they might just say 'ignore the text box when it transforms' but that would be boring.
Also, the Mayor-Alpha thing points away from that.
hmmm, kind of true, but maybe most double-faced cards do not flip on and off every two minutes, if you have to do this once every three turns I believe it's okay.
You'd also have to do that every time someone wanted to check the other side of the card if one of the players doesn't have the face-down side memorized (assuming that it's public knowledge what the other side would be... not sure how they'd rule that, which is interesting to think about even if I am 99% sure that they won't be doing this).
i was playing and killling at my FNM for a few weeks, and when i had a field full of Hawks on turn four and he dropped Hero of Oxid Ridge to win it was a beating.
If Hero continues to Go in RDW lists, RDW could be a beat stick in the future.
The good thing about Barbs in that situation is its a lot easier to deal 3 damage rather than 6.
Hero of Oxid Ridge is a beating. Completely nullifies it. Its like we give all our guys flying
Better than flying since they charge through Hawks.
Against control decks, they're probably hitting you with Spreading Seas/Tectonic Edges.
I'm always happy when I see control decks doing this... it's never enough to actually damage my gameplan, it's not that effective against Koth and they're wasting time that could be spent preventing damage. If I don't draw Koth they've done nearly nothing with that time and if I do draw Koth his +1 is still perfectly useable (if they get 3-4 spreading seas very quickly against me that will be game, but they need too get 3-4 seas for them to be effective). I mean, it's fine in the maindeck, but it really should come out against us game 2 and I see a lot of people keeping them in.

Why does this make you sad?
20 double faced = 1 per rarity per color.

Which is why I have 4 cliffs in my list. =P
