So my play group has decided that EDH decks played must be tribal. I want to build a deck that can be competitive in not only 1v1 but also Multi. The rules for deck contruction are quite simple to my understanding. Your general will decide your tribe (if they have two creature types you must choose one). The deck must contain at least 34 cards of the selected type be it creature (General Included), enchantment, sorcery, or instant. I have a sneaking suspicion that others will be playing goblins and elves. Which is why I wanted to do something different i.e. Sygg, River Guide. I like the access to both blue and white as well as the protection. So take a look at my deck list and let me know any pointers or comments. I also want to be able to play a lot of the good blue and white cards (mind over matter, Acquire, reveillark, Followed Footsteps, Aven Mindcensor, Stonecloaker, etc.

1. If a player has platinum emperion on the field and is hit by phage the untouchable does that player lose the game? If life total doesn't change is damage dealt?
2. If a player has captain sisay on the field and taps to search and opponent fatestitcher to tap sisay in response does the first player still search?
Is Lorthos, the tidemaker's ability an activated ability or a triggered? I heard its only an activated if the card text includes a colon. Thanks for the clarification.

The point of this deck is to combo out but unfortunately all the combos require Stoonybrook Schoolmaster and Intruder Alarm. So I feel like i need Idyllic tutor, Enlightened Tutor, and Academy Rector but I have to trade for all of them and need to figure how to fit them in. I was also thinking of adding Vedalken Aethermage for her wizard sniping ability.

1: If I have a Reki, the history of kamigawa out and I play a legendary land do I draw a card?
2: If I activate Captain Sisay and in response she is terminated, do I still get to search for a legendary?
