3-1
Beat: Naya hexproof 2-0
Mono Green aggro 2-0
something 2-1//2-0 forgot. Using planeswalker points history and dont know this player so I forgot what he was playing.
Lost: GWR Naya Midrange. Got stuck on lands g1 then g2 didn't have the ability to cast verdict and leave up flare which wouldn't have been an issue if I had paid attention to my mana base before and not been so conservative with my spells.
-1 Celestial Flare
+1 Reprisal
3-0-1 Drew in finals
Beat: Junk Midrange 2-0
No idea 2-0
GRW Midrange 2-1
The reprisal was key in taking out EOT Advent of the Wurms so flare could nail a hydra
3-1
Beat: GW Centaur aggro 2-0
RW Burn 2-0 (Jace, Memory Adept was a house)
UW Mirror 2-0 (same 75)
Lost: Mono Red Aggro 1-2 (kept a slower hand and he drew mono creatures vs my lone sheep with 2 removals and no jace//verdict)
-1 island
-1 plains
-1 Reprisal
-1 Gainsay
+1 Worst Fears (for value)
+1 Temple of Deceit
+1 Temple of Enlightenment

-1 Blind Obedience
+1 Nyx-Fleece Ram
3-1
Beat: Bant Eidolon 2-1 (Aetherling mirror)
Brave Naya 2-0 (to be fair he drew fairly bad and I was dead to boros charm and rampager for 4 turns)
BG Midrange 2-0
Lost: BW Midrange 1-2 (spell light)
4-0
Beat: Mazes End 2-1
Junk Aggro 2-1

5-1-1 (states)
Beat: GB Devotion x5 (not kidding)
UWR Control 2-0
Lost: GB Nighthowler Dredge 1-2 (no reprisals in the board for troll)
This is the list I have had the most success with lately. Nothing special just very focused in the main. So far my record has been spectacular with this version. My only changes I would make going forward is to find room for 1 or 2 Reprisals in the board going forward (possibly over the celestial flare in the side and a gainsay). The GB Matchup is very good with this version and every card has been outstanding.
So I was unsure of what to play in SCG Open Cinci and ended up putting together something that I was unable to test as much as I would have liked. The deck begins with Dictate of Kruphix and uses the tempo of cards like Render Silent and Silence to stay ahead while dictate keeps the cards flowing. Your Silence effects are only as good as the board state is at the time so I am playing Quicken + Supreme Verdict or an overloaded Cyclonic Rift to force the opponent to commit to the board and then start chaining Render Silent's and Silence (which are effectively Time Walk's) to completely shut the opponent out of the game. I have selected Psychic Spiral as the kill condition with Elixir of Immortality serving as a lifegain spell that can also refill your library in a manner that doesn't necessarily kill the opponent so you can draw out the game until there is not enough time left on the clock for the opponent to kill you in sideboarded games - at which point you direct a Psychic Spiral to their face and tell them there is 5 minutes left on the clock. This deck also has as special kill condition that I was only able to achieve twice at the open. To those special few the deck is called "Two Scoops"
This is what I have been working on for an upcoming FNM. So far I have liked the deck but it is only a matter of time before my mana curve and the lack of removal will come back to get me. I would like to specifically focus on lowering the mana curve alittle. Armadda Wurm and Trostani providing 4 devotion as well as some lategame power is what caught my interest in the beginning. Sideboard is hastily thrown together so don't judge too much.
The deck is very good. Like, astonishingly good. I am really surprised no one at the pro tour discovered this deck. I guess the mana was too shaky to their taste.
We are completely different decks. Just because everyone runs Restoration Angel, doesn't make them all the same. We just happen to both be running Battle of Wits
I didn't see any threads called battle of wits bro. Anyways, I will have a full tournament report for you castiel9020 if the deck get put together for tonight. I am currently missing 2 tamiyo, 2 jace architect, 4 temporal mastery, 4 vraska.
Sadly I cannot board out ALL my bad cards against control. But I have noticed that if you skip a beat against esper or bant, you can still be fine. However, against aggro, you will die if you don't have the cards necessary to stabilize
This deck run's 17 red source in the mana base and that doesn't include rakdos keyrune. Also all my early game is red and blue so I wouldn't keep a hand without red mana.
