So...you thought his random vote, in the random voting stage, was clutter, which you consider scummy (as you have called me out for my number of posts vs. content ratio), so you called him out for it, "downplayed the amount you were calling him out" (which I don't understand why you'd do if you thought his action was legitimately scummy, and you have stated that you do consider cluttering posts to be scummy) and when he didn't respond with any sustenance, you...back off? And I shouldn't be continuing to vote you for this weak self-contradiction of a response?
It wasn't scummy, but it was pointless.
If you look I threw my vote at him when he said I was overreacting. At this point at least someone who is town agrees that I was overreacting, so I'm willing to admit that his observation wasn't completely bull****. Manders, Iso, Voxxicus scum team? Not likely.
You've been posting a lot of words, but not a lot of content. That's very much so not the same at all. Seriously, everyone look over Iso's posts and tell me he's been adding to the arguments for anything. Now that you've been called on it you've managed to get a good nights sleep, allowing you to make a post with substance.
You're making excuses for not posting before (an actual scum tell) and only added to the conversation when you were called out for not adding to the conversation. You are in the mafia.
I'd push for one of the vote restrictions or something like that. One has to be scum, right?
1. You're pulling a quote where I explain what a good mafia tactic would be.
2. The town losing two votes means that actual everyone in the entire town needs to be convinced that one person need to be lynched. Nine town seven to lynch, right? That would suck. This line of thinking isn't going anywhere, so there is no reason to pursue it while there are better targets.
Ximbad, you could explain why you felt the need to say the whole bit about "do I care? no" or whatever it was that set me on to you. And we can go from there.
I asked him to elaborate, but his vote was almost certainly random. I don't think he should clutter the thread with pointless posts that don't even attempt to add anything. But I don't really care that much, and I didn't feel that a response was necessarily called for. By saying "Do I care?" I was down-playing the amount I was calling him out and leaving him open to just ignoring me if he didn't have anything to add (he didn't, by the way).
Or you could beleive your story and I said that because . . . what's your story again?
There's nothing illogical about it.
There are two people that are exhibiting scummy behavior that can be explained away by meta - Iso and Kpaca.
These two players are not knowingly aligned, due to the interactions between them.
I think Kpaca is more likely to be scum than Iso.
Therefore I am not going to vote to lynch Iso.
I think Ximbad is more likely scum than either of them.
Therefore I am voting Ximbad.
Do I need to break the logic down any more for you?
kpaca and iso could both be scum, it's not hard to imagine. In fact if Iso is scum (which I think there is a good chance of), then you would be more town, not less.
Stop me if I start making sense. I'm town, you're town, and Iso is scum. You start a bandwagon on me that manders metoos. At this point if he manages to get me lynched he's got you and manders to absorb the blame and maybe get lynched tomorrow.
The only reason people are voting for me is because of some new tell that was discovered after I stopped playing mafia, but is able to peg scum with 100% certainty day one? One that mostly involes me asking Voxx to add something to the game.
If I was scum with kpaca and Iso was town I'd never join that wagon. I'd push for one of the vote restrictions or something like that. One has to be scum, right? If one was scum I'd make up some awful reason to lynch him that seems somewhat coherent. That's all it takes ITT to be taken seriously. Later if one of us was killed the other would be ''confirmed" town.
Drastic overreaction to a simple RVS vote, trying to dismiss it off as a gambit, over-defensiveness, jittery, not actually doing anything useful other than flail around.
At what point did "maybe overreaction" turn into "drastic overreaction"?
@ iso: what could I possibly say to counter your soulread?
I think you are trying to damage the credibility of the people that are, or were, voting for you with poor blanket statements.
I think you're attempting to dismiss Iso's attack on you as a personal one, when it is not - he did not 'cuss you out over a game' that I can see - he may have called the points you raise crappy, and your arguments bad - but not you, specifically.
I want you dead.
Is that better? I did try to state my viewpoints nice and clear for you this time!
I should note that my reads are subject to change pretty rapidly, given the limited amount of content so far - especially if any alignments are revealed that don't fit in this world view.
Was just an idle thought after looking things over.
You need to come up with something more substantial than "omg, self-consience." If that's enough for you to scrounge up seven votes, good for you, I guess. Manders didn't post a reason with her vote, and hasn't posted since she voted for me you're putting words in her mouth. voxx doesn't have any idea what he thinks and tom is (was) pretty much just barning you.
Look over your posts, try and figure out what percentage of what you say really is adding anything. I think that you're adding very little proportionately to how much you post.
There was disscusion about your false claim that you didn't imediately derail. By letting people focus on your claim you were, at best, distracting from the start of the day.
Are you always this mad? If you don't enjoy playing the game, maybe you should take a break. I don't like being cussed out over a game.
Drastic overreaction to a simple RVS vote, trying to dismiss it off as a gambit, over-defensiveness, jittery, not actually doing anything useful other than flail around.
Neither town or scum want to die, sure, but a single town death impacts their teams' chances much less than a single scum death. This leads to scum being overly defensive at the slightest hint of pressure at times, and I think that's what we're looking at here.
You posted that your vote was some kind of gambit. I asked you if you had anything to add to the game; you did not. Thanks anyways.
I like Iso more than I did. I hadn't realized that there actually were no neutral roles in the game, which makes it a little more clear cut joke rather than horrible gambit. Doesn't mean he's automatically town, mind you!
I don't especially like Kpaca. Something about the 'Don't answer his questions' statement in particular bothered me - you can accuse Iso of trying to lead people into a way of thinking for a mislynch, sure, but answering questions is almost always a good thing - it provides information on the person answering, and the person asking, as more reads develop and alignments are known.
Iso is actively trying to shape Tomato's opinion. How is that pro anything execpt pro iso?
unvote; vote:Iso
You're really high on your trumped-up bandwagon. You've been posting very vapid posts that say a lot, but don't really have a point. Your false-claim was distracting at best from attempts to start the day. I'm very happy with this vote.
How? I've got three votes, but none have any reason other than tom's who (incorrectly) reasoned that I was depicted in my avatar. Like, I don't see any non-random votes, so w/e.
So far the only things to happen are:
1) Iso's joke claim, not really actionable
2) Dork Knight's attempted posting restriction claim drawing, a little scummy, but most likely he was just curious. And just pulled out the most recent in a long line of odd posts.
3) Voxxicus' 'gambit' against me, which seems pretty off to me. I still don't see how voting without saying anything then claiming to have laid a trap helps anything at all. It might throw a little suspicion my way for no reason whatsoever. vote: Voxxicus
4) Zelderex's vote for Voxx, eschewed by his little rap. He later retracted for the bunk iso bandwagon, at Yanni's request.
So far I've gotten a few vibes here and there, but for the most part this entire thread is just spam.
Assume it is my turn (1st main phase) and I have 1 card left in my library and a Laboratory Maniac in play, do I instantly win or do I have to wait for my next turn's draw phase when I do the ff:
1) I cast Mulch / Tracker's Instincts
2) I cast Armored Skaab
3) I cast Increasing Confusion
4) I cast Ponder
Thanks!
None of these win you the game. You need to empty your library, then draw a card for Lab Maniac to win you the game.
inb4 Pot:Kettle. You're supposed to read the whole thread, then comment. This post isn't distracting, but it acctually adds nothing to the game.
This line of thinking isn't going anywhere, so there is no reason to pursue it while there are better targets.

If you're accusing me of being abrasive, OK, ya got me. Maybe I should use more smilies.
@iso: I only knew you were talking about me after I reread the entire thread, lcol. Or I was wondering if he had any reason to vote . . . same with manders . . .

Vote iso You claimed town, then claimed neutral. LAL. I'm really, really white, does that make me double town? Anything to add? ajust throwing that out there? How is that helping? Do I care?
