Liliana, the Last Hope went up to 45. This is not sustainable but for the short term, it can go up and will slowly go down, just like some previous cards. This is the pattern for when a mythic in the new set sees play and is decent. We saw this spike in Pyromancer's Goggles after the GR Ramp deck came out, how Jace, Vryn's Prodigy, Archangel Avacyn, and Nahiri, the Harbinger.
I recommend dumping your Lily now if you do need them, and if you do, keep them. If you need them, then I am sorry, but I hope you can open one in a pack or trade for one at a cheap price.

Do not feel stupid. Sometimes my jokes go deep and are not always apparent what they are, if they are even jokes. And considering I have by accident swapped reviews on cards, it was not an unreasonable line of though. -

Relentless dead is on a very steady rise; https://www.magiccardmarket.eu/Products/Singles/Shadows over Innistrad/Relentless Dead Full month of rising (albeit the average is shadowed by a highly volatile price range). I think he'll settle for something like 6-7 euros (he was 5 euros somewhere before spoilers for emn started, and risen ever since spoilers were done).
Apparently here the combo Cryptbreaker is highly sought after?
If I ignore the straight line on that graph which seems to equate that it is a steady increase which is not the truth, the story of Relentless Dead, the MCM actually agrees with my data. It spike hard, and is not steadily dropping. The line is appears to be just an average of the price change.
As for the Cryptbreaker, I have not looked at the European markets so I am afraid any response would be a guess and based off US data. -

No. It was a play on Mana Crypt coin flipping for Force of Will's seemingly flip of a coin flip if it was going up or down. -
Jul 24, 2016Rai Kerensky posted a message on The Magic Market Index for July 21, 2016So the SCG has come and gone. The winner of the tournament was Bant Collected company with its newest best friend, Spell Queller. It is likely this card will go up slightly, as well as other cards in the deck. The Sultai deck is quite good and has validated several cards, like Ishkanah, Grafwidow and Emrakul, the Promised End. The G/W token deck took a bit of a small beating but still showed up. Humans failed to make Top 8, but there is still a presence. They seem to be the deck for aggro. Zombies failed to show up in the top 64, just as predicted.Posted in: Articles
It is too early to say that Standard is set in stone and things are this way for now, but it will not be until after the Pro Tour that the meta has had a chance to determine what the decks to play are. Right now, avoid the hype cards, aside from Spell Queller which is probably legitimately the best card in Eldritch Moon.
Predicition for next week is that Bant Company will be the number one deck, but may not be the winning deck. A lot of decks are going to try to build around it now that is seen how it plays. However, it is a strong deck that does not have too many great answers to what the deck does that are not U. A strong U/ B Control deck might be able to do well against it. -

Sets in recent past have been printed at much larger number due to demand. Simple economics would say that since demand is keeping up with supply that prices should stay about the same. What determines the prices of a card is how much people want the cards in the set and are willing to buy boxes. I do not have the hard data here, so this is speculation. Khans sold a lot because it had fetch lands and many player wanted them as well as mrking them for potential value later. Battle for Zendikar/Oath of the Gatewatch had expeditions which a lot of people bought into hoping to get some cards worth a lot of money. Shadows and other sets did not have such incentive beyond the normal Limited and Standard demands, so the prices are a little higher since not as much product is opened as the other sets.
In all reality, what determines the prices is not the number of boxes produced but how many boxes are opened and if there is a compelling reason to buy boxes of the set over singles. -

Thanks. that will be changed. I think I will go over each card name to make sure they are all correct. -

I probably could've said something earlier, but it felt kinda nitpicky unless I had other points to discuss. As I said, the work that must go into this thing every week must be staggering. It is much appreciated and I look forward to it every week.
I appreciate all feedback. Even nit picking as long as it is designed to help. It is a lot less work than it used to be, but it is still a good amount of work. But it is a lot of fun after it is done, and if it helps even a person once, then it is worth it to me.

1. Manakin was not reprinted in EMA. You may be thinking of Millikin, but that can't be $4, right?
2. Sidisi, Undead Vizier has been misspelled during its entire tenure on the list.
3. While the original art may be classic, I wouldn't describe the current Necropotence art as "undesirable."
4. I totally agree on many of these bad rarity upshifts.
Milikin showed up at 3.99 when I did numbers, so it might have been a mistake somewhere.
A lot of the people I talk with hate that art, so I made an off hand comment about the art being undesirable. It not meant to be taken as absolute fact, but rather an opioion held by a good amount of players. -

This one was more on me. I was out for most of the time I normally write it, and I fell asleep shortly after I got home. I woke up Friday morning and finished it. Hopefully it will be out as soon as when our editor wakes up. -

Re: your comment about Imperious Perfect "This uncommon is solid. It is good to see valuable uncommons." is incorrect, because the card got an upshift in rarity. When we're talking about $10 MSRP packs, the card that takes up a precious rare slot is important, and therefore this is is a disappointing reprint, at the Rare level. A card just under $3 is fine at the UC level, but at Rare is a disappointment to just about anyone that opens it, less it filled a critical spot in Limited.
Re: your comment on Regal Force "This only increased demand, not much to decrease price.", this is wildly incorrect. On May 23rd, Eventide copies were $14.79 TCG mid, and on release date EMA copies were sub $7. I would consider a drop of 55% a significant drop in price.
This is after the fact, considering the date in which you wrote your summary, but 5 days after release there are 33 different sellers that have them priced below $5, including the cost to ship them, while TCG Mid has them at $5.73, a 61% drop in price.
Is the comment for Maze of Ith supposed to say "cheaper" instead of keeper?
Also, FYI, in the Ichorid comment, the word you're looking for is "dregs", not "dreads".
Finally, why are cards down to $2 even on the list? Considering the MSRP of an EMA pack is 2.5x that of a typical pack, shouldn't the threshold be $5?
Lots of errors in your first attempt to analyze EMA.
I pick the two dollar mark for all packs, regardless of the cost of the pack. It used to be worth more than a dollar, but that filled a lot of cards and my editor wanted me to cut down on it and it was a lot of extra work for me.
Sometimes I make poor word choices. I am only human, and writing 3000 words, I make a few bad word choice and miss it on my reread.
Imperious Perfect was an honest mistake that I thought was an uncommon until I saw one opened in the rare slot. That said, it would suck to open that as a rare.
I was going purely by the increase from $6.16 up to $7.50, not what the older print copies are going for compared to the new ones. You are welcome to do that on your own. That is way beyond what I want to do with Eternal Masters. I was explaining why it went up for the week.
And the tokens went down. It was not unexpected, but it was nice for a little. -

I wonder how long will the set keep dragging the expeditions down as I am just about ready to pick up the ones I still need.
Speaking of expeditions, Forbidden Orchard has been misspelled for the umpteenth week in a row and doesn't link properly. Might want to fix that
The Forbidden Orchard was fixed for the newest edition. As for the expedition question, once Zendikar block is not a draftable format and packs rotate out of card shops that specialize in having Standard packs in the store, then I would start buying. -

It should be "will". - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.
I disagree and actually have an article incoming explaining why this set will not be a repeat of Battle for Zendikar. It should be out later today.
As for pre-ordering itself, it is always a gamble, and like gambling at a casino, the house (store) usually wins.
Done.
Happy Cirno day.
