Drana uses Coffers indeed. But for using Coffers in the Wydwen deck, I will need Urborg to swamp all my other lands. Not that I'm not willing to get me one, but Urborg is extremely rare in my area and barely anyone trades his or hers away :s. Cloud of Faeries do is a damn good card ^^ Running 3 of those in my Legacy deck :).
Any examples of those faerie/wizard fun cards and tricks?
He's not saying Wydwen needs Coffers. Cloud untaps any two lands, so she can untap your Coffers.
I dunno the levelers + venerated teachers actually work pretty well for me. And Grand Architect is NUTS! The way its worded allows you to tap it as though it had haste along with your 1 and 2 drops for 6 Colourless on T3, So not only do you have 3 blue guys but you have a TURN 3 WURMCOIL OR HELLKITE!!! Plus the Enclave Cryptologist serves dual purpose as a level 2 allowing you to dump creatures to feed Masticore. I'm actually finding that this deck has more synergy than elves. Can't wait to take it to FNM and see how it fairs... Here it is...
This deck is extremely fast as it allows you to drop your 6cmc stuff faster than ramp. It's important to keep the deck as creature heavy as possible to get the most out of Grand Architect IMO. At first i was kinda wary of Venerated teacher but he has proven to be pretty effective. He levels your t1 and t2 Cryptologist and Commander and adds to your army of Sol Rings and at the very least he chumps and goes on to feed the Masticore.
And although i do have the JaceTMS' i feel this is one deck where Mini Jace actually fits better. You gotta remember this deck aims to dump a fish army + plus Architect and essentially drop Wumcoils and Steel Hellkites for free all the while abusing the ☺☺☺☺ outta Molten-tail Masticore. I'd actually like to find room for another Jace Beleran in the main.
Also i brought in Thada Adel, Acquisitor (originally in the side) because the amount of decks running monster artifacts is on the rise and steeling an opponents Wurmcoil, Mimic Vat, Ratchet Bomb, Argentim Armor, Sword of Body and Mind, Brittle Effigy or Mox is pretty damn cool. This deck is too much fun!!
This list seems really, really heavy at the 3 drop. To the point where I would either add in some chalices or consider cutting some of the lower performing guys. Though if it's been testing well for you, good on you I guess.
While I can see putting double black and double red in the same deck, Kargan alongside Nantuko Shade seems to be pushing your luck. A lot. Have you tested this at all?
I concur, and I've said it once and I'll say it again...
The goal of a game is to WIN. Be it Magic, poker, CoD:BO, etc. Whether or not your opponent is having fun (or you) is tertiary to winning, as that is the primary objective of a game. Secondary is your own enjoyment, only because that is not static, as the objective is (ie, you could enjoy the game sometimes, and not enjoy it other times, and as such this will change whether or not you want to play in the first place. However, even if you are not enjoying the game, the game still says "this is how you win; try to win" or "defeat your opponents") etc.
While I agree with this sentiment for competitive (tournament, etc) play, that's not necessarily true here. I prioritize having fun over winning with EDH. While winning is fun, it's possible to enjoy the game without winning as well. Interesting game states and crazy plays bring me as much or more enjoyment as winning the game. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one with this viewpoint.
That said, I'm against banning Emrakul. As has been stated many times in this thread already, there are plenty of viable answers to her that don't dilute your deck any.
Eruption is a solid limited card, and Psyche is a build around card for all the Johnnies out there. I've seen both of them used in those respects. They're just aimed at a different demographic of the Magic population than you.
Samite Elder is a fun one, especially in a 5 color deck. Her + any non-Progenitus 5 color general = protection from almost everything for your whole team.
I'm thinking about making a Cromat deck focused around the various cycles that have appeared through history. So far I've got bringers, nephilim, ultimatums (other than Clarion, which just is not good here. Possibly not Titanic either. We'll see), Hondens, and the Alara charms (maybe not Grixis) in here. I sure I'm missing some good ones. Help me out.
I've also realized I don't know if the plural of Honden is Honden or Hondens.
Now running fetchlands for Landfall triggers, shuffle effects, and splashable sideboards is a totally different story. I just want to emphasize that fetches DO NOT DECK THIN!
To be fair, there is a noticeable percentage. It's just such a small percentage that it doesn't justify the life lost.
I may have worded my earlier post poorly. I'm not saying that you shouldn't run small creatures, just that the small creatures you do run should have some larger impact on the game state. Something like the Cathartic Adept or Escaped Null you had in there at first is more or less a wasted slot, because they don't impact the game in any significant way. Something like Dwarven Blastminer or Nezumi Graverobber is almost always relevant and can frequently swing the game.
The bit about efficiency is because most people playing constructed formats want cheap, efficient spells. In a format like EDH, it's OK to spend 1 more mana to get a bigger effect. While it won't be the most efficient option most of the time, the increase in power level or the number of options you have is worth it in a slower singleton format. I'm definitely not advocating playing nothing but high cost bombs.
My Buddy is running it in a G/W token deck like the guy above suggested. Don't know his exact deck list, but he runs those along with rampaging baloths, admonition angel for some more landfall fun, iona for some shutout. It seems like a pretty fun deck to play. Just a suggestion.

Teamwork, ho!
You may not win but you will be respected.

Also Conflux was one of the first cards. Almost the reason I'm making the deck.

Dragon Appeasement if you're feeling ballsy.
That sounds like a prohibitively high curve.
