The decks are 3-color, and Command Tower is the only land that supports three colors with no drawbacks.
I will be beyond shocked if it is not in all 5 decks-
they know the world needs more of them,
and there's no good reason *not* to include it-
It's not exactly selling expansion packs.
It's rarity is common so it will be in all 5 decks.
From a commander stand point, Teysa2.0 interacts wonderfully with teysa, Orzhov scion due to the tokens being both white and black. A little high on the CMC but strong abilities.
Play XKarn, Silver GolemX, he's fun and kind of a combo piece. Plus you could go tribal and do Golems. Mine's had it's moments. Ditto on the Maelstrom Wanderer too, very random and funny. Mine is a cascade/steal things and then sac them kinda build.
This will be a nice prerelease to go to with the chance of opening double or even triple rare packs; and a mythic land? Perhaps we'll see a sweet reprint. The set is "Dragon's Maze" after all. Maze of Ith at mythic seems about right... unless it's on the stupid reserved list or something. Also, I'm glad I didn't buy any Shocks for modern yet.
Use Tariel more than once each turn with Thousand-year elixir and rings of brighthearth, and the like. Lots of spot removal and wraths + indestructibility. The one thing that will truly make the deck oppressive is the way you play it. The 99 may stay the same but people will view the deck differently depending on wether or not you're always crushing the table to the max. If you hold back a little the cards will let the theme shine through without demoralizing everyone else.
It's rarity is common so it will be in all 5 decks.
Here's a quick sharpie altered Armageddon Clock I did for my Karn deck.
And finally, a Kaalia of the Vast alter I did with the foil peeling technique.
I was going to call yellow too. Primary Colors FTW.
I was waiting for this one ^ lol. But seriously, no one has suggested Jhoira of the Ghitu yet? for shame!
P.S. Also you can use the advanced search on www.magiccards.info to look for cards that "put a creature into play"
