Doom Blade does resolve, it just doesn't have a legal target anymore.

No, it does not resolve, it is countered due to having no legal targets

    what about burning-tree emissary?

When burning-tree emissary enters the Battlefield, it generates mana - so yes, that mana can be used for Myr Superion.

Balderdash! Well, I guess I have some explaining to do then.

thanks for clearing that up, unfortunately I am the only one looking like an idiot now Frown

Your opponent is correct - Myr Superion can only use Mana produced by creatures, creatures only exist on the battlefield - in your hand, Elvish Spirit Guide is a Creature Card, on the Stack it is a Creature Spell

without evidence you are out of luck. unlike some, i am 50/50 on saying the stores name. I'd make sure that nothing else could be done before publishing the store's name. A store's reputation means a lot. And they will be far more hostile if they find out that you posted their name.

I'm not taking the store's side, but I suggesting that there may be an explanation and you should explore are the angles before dragging a store's reputation into it.

I will second this - Be VERY VERY VERY careful before choosing to name them.

Without proof, you could be be guilty of Libel, and against a business, you could be legally on the hook for any "Lost Business" they can prove.

You should understand that the DCI can also eject her for ANY reason from their PRIVATE business program - there is NO recourse she can take.

No, the DCI (WPN) Cant - One of the WPN/DCI's CORE rules, is, the business is yours, and you can restrict access to it for ANY reason.

If you have/can get any proof of that actually happening, report her to WotC.
Also, that part about you being a WotC customer and not hers. If her events are sanctioned, she can't make you leave for no reason (and 'being too good' doesn't count).

This is simply not true - She can eject you for ANY reason from her PRIVATE business site - there is NO recourse the DCI can take

Indeed. Both the eBay and the PayPal accounts used aliases, and not his real name. This is rather important.

NEITHER is used under an alias actually

If this was all a big misunderstanding it would not be playing out the way it is. Also Tristan would not have kept his whole eBay business a secret. Everything points to him stealing stock and selling it. He hasn't even posted on twitter once since all this news broke. Channel Fireball wouldn't be tearing everything with his name on it off their site over a misunderstanding.

The most common defense people are using is he had a dream job and why would he risk his reputation over "a couple thousand". Well you don't know how much of a "dream job" it was to start with. And he has sold thousands of dollars worth of cards in just one month we can see from his auction history. The account has been active for 2 years. If you lowball an estimate of $3,000 pure profit a month (because he is stealing it all), that is $72,000. A bit more than a couple thousand.

Here is a quote from THIS years FTV FactSheet / Question list

    How much is it?

The MSRP for From the Vault: Realms is $34.99. Because of its extremely limited print run the product is often highly sought after. As always, it's up to individual retailers to determine what pricing is in their retail location.

So yes, they set an intentionally low MSRP.

They would have to have submit evidence to a judge in order to do that. The "evidence" that LSV posted does not count.

Again, the worst thing an innocent person can ever do is to talk to the police.

This is far from true, however the sentiment is right.

TSG should NOT be talking at this point - right now, we have heard biased circumstantial evidence from LSV and CFB - and nothing from TSG.

I have a hard time believing they didnt track back thousands of sales to him, if he has been stealing.

And then you become a criminal right after you utter those words, obstruction of justice is a misdemeanor punishable by a 1000 dollar fine and 180 days in jail . It is always good to tell the truth

You do have the right to remain silent, and exercising that right, is obstructing NOTHING

You are aware that MSPR stands for Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price. That's the definition of a pricing suggestion.

By all means, charge whatever you think you can get away with, but don't try and hide the fact you're marking stuff up simply because you can get away with it by saying "there is no suggested price".

I know EXACTLY what the acromny MSRP is, and as i stated i know what it is used for (it is a tool for Wholesalers, to get product into retailers hands).

Without placing an MSRP (or by placing an accurate MSRP) wizards cannot do, what they INTEND to do with the FTV products.

In short - WOTC MUST place an MSRP on product they distribute, and THAT price, indicates what price a store, can buy the product from a wholesaler.

WOTC, has stated in the past, that these are thank you items, to their most important partners - the retailers, and by placing an accurate MSRP of 100 -200 dollars, they HURT those partners

An example, in case the description was confusing: a store might sell a Thragtusk for $15, but if someone trades one into the store, they'll only get $7.50-$8.00 in credit, or maybe $6.00 in cash.

This practice (which again is common among all of the stores in my area) seems to allow a pretty significant profit margin on the sale of singles. Do stores elsewhere do this as well? Or do they handle selling/buying/trading differently?

You completely miss the THOUSANDS of unsellable bulk rares, that come in as well - for every 6 bucks i make on a Thragtusk, i go down 10 of bulk most days.

I LITERALLY have a (Valued by SCG) stock of 50 to 70 THOUSAND dollars in Rares, from standard legal sets, most are never ever expected to sell.

As for From the Vaults - the MARKET dictates that these have a specific price - MSRP in this case is a tool to get these sets into Retailer hands, and not in any way a pricing suggestion - Wholesalers need an MSRP, in order to distribute units to Retailers

SO say it is main phase 2 active player gets priority so if they decide to cast gravecrawler from gravetard there was no time in main phase 2 to surgical extract it from the time it hit the graveyard from combat damage phase?

No, and noone has stated this.

During the 2nd main phase, there is no time, since the AP receives priority first, however, after combat damage is dealt, there is an "End of Combat" where both players need to pass priority to get back to the main phase, and as such, you can cast surgical extraction at this point, before the AP can get an opportunity to cast it.
